Set VLC as default player - steq184 - 2012-03-17
Hi
I have a few movies that I have downloaded that play and sound great when I play them with VLC, unfortunately when I play them with the xbmc built in player the sound is sooo low that I cant hear it even if I turn volume up fully, seems that the background noises are louder that the speach.
I have no idea how to change the default built in player to VLC, have never changed any code.....in fact dont even know how to see the xbmc code or what software I may need.
Could you please help me out in laymans terms?

Search this forum...this question has been answered many time. Also if you want to boost the volume you could check in the audio settings while your playing the movie and turn up the audio amplifier
