TV series scrapping problem Wallander - RealRedHair - 2012-04-15 Hello! Have XBMC on ATV1 and connect to my iMac. Have two series of the Scandinavian serie Wallander. Link Wallander serie 1 and Link Wallander serie 2 The first is scrapped correctly by TheTVdb scraper. The directory of the first is Wallander. For the second I added a year and also the name of (med Rolf Lassgård). The second does not show up correctly. Is it possible to add the unique ID show code so XBMC knows which show it is? Any advice is welcome. RE: TV series scrapping problem Wallander - Chris! - 2012-04-15 Quote:The directory of the first is Wallander. Should explain the situation. All under the main directory TV. RE: TV series scrapping problem Wallander - RealRedHair - 2012-04-17 Any suggestions are welcome. Please see http://thetvdb.com/?string=wallander&searchseriesid=&tab=listseries&function=Search for overview of all Wallander series. RE: TV series scrapping problem Wallander - bootmonster - 2012-04-17 You don't have the episodes named correctly, they should be listed as episode 1 to 9. For faceless killers you are best to join the avi files together using virtualdub as multipart episodes tend to not show up correctly. I have added english titles to the episodes and added the air dates which should help you to organise your episodes better. Also if you edit the 'tvseries.nfo' you can add the TVDBID to the file. What I would recommend however is using a program like Media Companion to scrape the show first, then XBMC will just pull the details from the nfo files. RE: TV series scrapping problem Wallander - RealRedHair - 2012-04-19 @bootmonster Media Companion Thanks that is a good advice and I will check. New version just came out. It's on windows so I will have to run it on my old pc. Hard to find an alternative for Mac. Any suggesions (could not find much with google). Will try: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=109976 ViMediaManager Works perfect!!! RE: TV series scrapping problem Wallander - RealRedHair - 2012-04-21 Changed the filenaming with FileBot tool and edited nfo files with ViMediaManager. Did not yet merge one episode to one file. On ATV still things are not listed corretly. Cleaned library through settings. Episodes are listed twice once with name and once without. To different tv-art photos are displayed. So what am I doing wrong Quote:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><tvshow> Quote:[size=x[/size]x-small]<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><tvshow> RE: TV series scrapping problem Wallander - RealRedHair - 2012-04-22 Here you can see that things are twice listed. RE: TV series scrapping problem Wallander - RealRedHair - 2012-04-24 Any suggestions Or is my problem unclear. Is it required to putt the different seasons in separate folders? Eg Wallander (1995)/Season 1/files?? RE: TV series scrapping problem Wallander - bootmonster - 2012-05-10 Hi, sorry my internet has been down for the last couple of weeks, nightmare! So the only thing I can see that 'may' be causing the problem is the Quote:<id movieDB="tvrage">18175</id>which is for the modern series. Try removing that from the 'tvseries.nfo'. I am going to try scanning in my episodes (I have an Apple TV also) and see if I can replicate the problem. RE: TV series scrapping problem Wallander - RealRedHair - 2012-05-10 @bootmonster. Thanks for your reply, meanwhile I found out that if I leave away the nfo files it works fine finally. The files must then be labelled correctly. |
