Try this version:

Sorry to say, but it is using a different XML format so I am afraid you wont be able to import your previously exported watched data with it.

If you're using Windows you can use my .net app to import the old watched.xml file into your new database, then use the new add-on to export to the new format XML file.

I'll give that one a try...

What .net app is this?

Take a look at my previous post:

I've been happily using this app for a while now - let me know if you have any problems.

Just to say I used this to export from Frodo and import into a Gotham monthly build whilst at the same time moving my media to a different pc. And it still worked!!!

Have you set a path?

RE: [RELEASE] Watched Data Export/Import - Programs Addon - Stildawn - 2013-10-06

Hi

I exported my watched list which made the XML file fine, I then upgraded from Eden to Frodo, but when trying to import it fails?

Here is a snippet of the XML file if you need a look: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=66835

Is there anything I could be doing wrong? I have the XML file and opened in IE it looks fine (as far as I can tell)??

Thanks

Can this work with other Media Clients also? Like Plex in one room and XBMC in another?

Also does this remember Partial Watched Status?

Like I watched an Episode up to 19 minutes and I want to finish in another room right where I left off...

script.watched.states-1.1.0

1.1.0
- Added mode to clear all watched states from the library
- Improved import speed by ignoring already existing states
- Fixed unicode problems (hopefully)

1.0.1
- Print out videos that did not match to standard log

Worked great for me, thanks! You should make an own thread for this tool.

Is it known what the dependencies are for this script?
Attempting to install from ZIP give a dependencies not met warning, though i'm not sure if thats due to changes from frodo to gotham or the fact that I have moved to openelec!

I'm using this add-on without issues on Gotham 13.2. I use this script all the time between my three XBMC locations.

I was glad to read in the Helix release notes that:

* Add-ons are still compatible up to the Frodo/Gotham versions (excluding skins)

In my opinion this add-on should be incorporated into XBMC/Kodi as a built-in feature...
