RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.4 - yoshiofthewire - 2014-05-02 You may want to take this to the general forum. It sounds like a larger problem. And the new Beta is working great in Android testing RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.4 - Lusanagi - 2014-05-02 First of all: thank you for doing this add-on! I just installed RC3 (had to edit addon.xml because it was looking for python 2.7 and either I'm stupid and don't know how to updated or I read correctly that 2.7 is not available for XBMC, edited to 2.1) on a 12.0 build on my office's Windows PC, and even though I didn't use it much, I did notice that in the "Updated" item some shows were not visible like Jojo's Bizarre Adventure; checking in the "Simulcast" the show did appear with a label for the newest chapter as "Coming soon", checking on the website says 22 minutes to availability. I didn't check this on the older build in my g-box midnight, so I don't know if this is normal behavior or not. Oh, also, although it's not a deal breaker, whatever I watch using Crunchyroll Takeout doesn't get pushed to my History (again, don't know if this behavior is intentional or not) Update: New Jojo chapter is available on Simulcast only, but when I try to watch it nothing loads, previous chapters do load. Update 2: After 30 minutes of the chapter being on the site, the series appeared again in the Updated item, but got only SD video with french subtitles (weird, I have forced US region). Update 3: After over an hour the chapter loads on HD with english subtitles I'm guessing this issue with update 2 and 3 is more a CR thing than the addon PS: I apologize if this seemed like a PITA, wanted to give some detail RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.4 - v1n1c1uS - 2014-05-02 Thanks for the update! Working 100% on Openelec 3.2. Using PT-BR locale. RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.4 - User 216333 - 2014-05-03 Hey, I really like the update you made here. Somehow subtitle kerning (an issue from very long ago) has been fixed, so that's great and it really makes the plugin usable for me. I've got an odd bug. When I try and play an episode by selecting it and pressing <Enter>, it begins to load and then.... doesn't (it shows "Opening Stream", the screen goes black for a split second, and then it fades back to the episodes list). However, if I choose "Play Using..." and then select "DVDPlayer (default)", it plays immediately (I also have MPC-HC set as an external player). If I select the episode by browsing the Crunchyroll plugin using Yatse from my phone, it plays properly too. I'm wondering what might cause this issue when I just press <Enter>, which works for other videos. RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.4 - yoshiofthewire - 2014-05-03 Lusanagi, that issue should be addressed. (Yes CR gives us some wacko data) v1n1c1uS, good to hear. billyea, The videos being played are now .m3u8, and if XBMC is passing the url to the file instead of passing the file, then they won't play because your headers will be wrong. RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.4 - yoshiofthewire - 2014-05-03 CR All Access 48hr Codes: [REMOVED -> Check Lower] Good Luck RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.4 - User 216333 - 2014-05-03 (2014-05-03, 11:48)yoshiofthewire Wrote: billyea, The videos being played are now .m3u8, and if XBMC is passing the url to the file instead of passing the file, then they won't play because your headers will be wrong.I don't know much about this headers stuff. Do you know what might I do to resolve this issue? RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.4 - yoshiofthewire - 2014-05-03 You have to turn off the external player I will look to see if I can fix this automagicly, RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.4 - Lusanagi - 2014-05-03 (2014-05-03, 11:48)yoshiofthewire Wrote: Lusanagi, that issue should be addressed. (Yes CR gives us some wacko data) Thanks for your input yoshi haven't tried for a prolonged time version 0.9.9.4 so I don't know if the same issue as 0.7.2.2 with the subtitles happens (after some time they become unreadable, they become squared shapes), or could this be an XBMC issue? RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.4 - yoshiofthewire - 2014-05-03 That should be an XBMC issue, and very version specific, because it doesn't happen for me. That said, as 0.9.9 and above use a new method to get that data, it should no longer be an issue. RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.4 - Majide - 2014-05-03 ![]() ---- XBMC 13 RC1, Linux x86-64 RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.4 - yoshiofthewire - 2014-05-03 Majide, you MUST insert your CR Username and Password, or you will not be able to playback videos. Yes it will work with a free account. I have updated the Beta to hard fail when account information is missing. RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.5 - yoshiofthewire - 2014-05-03 Just updated to add the new feature you have ALL wanted. Updating your history with what you have watched, and for how long. Do you know what might I do to resolve this issue? I don't know if this is the best solution (don't know what else exactly uses the .m3u8), but you can set to XBMC force the "DVDPlayer" (it's the name of the internal player) to this particular extension, while you keep your external player for the normal usage. I use this with DSPlayer, for example, where I use the DSPlayer as a default player, but the Crunchyroll addon will always use the DVDPlayer. Create (or edit) the following file with this rule: %AppData%/XBMC/userdata/playercorefactory.xml Code: <playercorefactory> RE: [RC3] Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9.9.5 - Majide - 2014-05-03 With a valid username and password, I cannot login successfully! Now I put version 0.9.9.6 and always get "Session failed: check Login". XBMC Log: Code: 22:12:23 T:139638622635776 NOTICE: [PLUGIN] 'Crunchyrollxbmc: version 0.9.9.6' initialized!
