RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - mattumanu - 2015-04-24 You know, it was working this morning. I like this app better than the one from Playon, it's a shame. RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - yoshiofthewire - 2015-04-24 I just pushed an update to Github that fixes this issue. I'm looking at a new method to enable the plugin that would remove the use of your username and password. Not done yet, but I the fix should be pushed out by this weekend. How would we be able to access the queue if we don't log in? edit** Fix works by the way, kodi Helix 14.2. RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - yoshiofthewire - 2015-04-24 If we can steal a bottle of Magic Sauce you will go to the CR activation page and enter the link code on your TV. Like you do with the YouTube app. RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - mattumanu - 2015-04-24 (2015-04-24, 18:00)yoshiofthewire Wrote: If we can steal a bottle of Magic Sauce you will go to the CR activation page and enter the link code on your TV. How would that even work? Their product activation process assumes a code that comes from a device. As far as I know a computer running Kodi doesn't have a code. Neither does a dumb Television like mine. RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - yoshiofthewire - 2015-04-24 How it works with YouTube 1) Kodi sends a JSON statement to an URL with an API Key 2) YouTube replies with a activation code 3) Kodi displays the code on the screen 4) You go to Youtube.com/Activate and enter the code 5) Kodi asks YouTube if you activated the device 6) YouTube responds with a secret for the player. In this case replace YouTube with Crunchyroll ... if we can get a bottle of magic sauce. What does magic sauce taste like? Garum RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - yoggib - 2015-04-25 can't get into crunchyroll on kodi RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - yoshiofthewire - 2015-04-25 Please fully explain the issue. What error message are you getting? Please note that all builds before 2.1.2 are non-functional at this time. RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - mattumanu - 2015-04-25 (2015-04-24, 21:24)yoshiofthewire Wrote: How it works with YouTube Okay, so I just tried that with the Youtube app. I didn't know that's how it worked, I assumed you put in your login. So, the special sauce you're talking about is finding a device signature to use that Crunchyroll would recognize as cooperate with? RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - yoshiofthewire - 2015-04-25 OK, let us start from the top. That was an example of how I hope things to work in the future. ... right now it is broken. There is an update to fix it, that I have submitted, but has yet to have been pulled. So, you just have to wait RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - yoshiofthewire - 2015-04-25 OK, so in testing of the new build ... the video skipping is MUCH worse. .... .... Yeah, got to work on that. RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - mattumanu - 2015-04-25 I pulled the one from Github yesterday, it's working fine. No skipping under kodi 14 helix. RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - yoshiofthewire - 2015-04-25 Yeah, but skip backward is broken. RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - mattumanu - 2015-04-25 It's working for me. What I have experienced in the past has been that if XBMC/Kodi reports that you skipped 30 seconds, it's actually only 3 seconds. if I type in 30, then the arrow key, I get 30. Up and down gets 10 minutes, which is correct. RE: Crunchyroll [2.1.1] - yoshiofthewire - 2015-04-25 2.1.2 was accepted, so update if you are still seeing errors. |
