The Add-in can't access the data directory.
This is something that happens on Android based devices.
You may need to reset the data on Kodi.
You will need to delete the data for the add-in.

So there's nothing else I can do? I did a complete reset on Kodi, but when I installed the add-on again, it gave the same issues.

Try deleting the Kodi directory on your SD card.
The error comes from Kodi being unable to write to it's own data.

Please help, I've been having the same error. I try to see the file log accesing to openelec with putty, but I dont find the file, I did find a CHANGELOGFILE.txt but I think is not that , right? Where its the file log how, do a access to it?, and where a find de crunchyXBMC.dir file?

The subtitles are selected by the location choice in the CR settings.
Italian subtitles are not an option on the US site.
If your CR location offers Italian as the default option in Video Options if you select it, the plugin will default to it.

the problem is: there is no italian defaul option on my site also but some of the video, the newer have the italian language selectable as a sub... i think italian support is still new ill send a support request to cr to add the italian lang as a default option

Since you probably only ever get complaints or support requests, I thought I I'd say that I think this so far is the best version of the add on. The only time it doesn't work is if CR itself isn't working. Also, because of you I learned how to change the default fanart from Mikasa to something else. Thanks for all your hard work.

I'm unable to login using this add-on. I'm running Kodi 14.2, Crunchyroll 2.1.2.
Within Kodi I'm getting - Session Failed: Check Login.
I checked the Kodi log and noticed this error: Premium type check failed, premium type: free.
I'm able to use the same username and password to watch premium crunchyroll content on both my PS3 and my PC.
Anybody else get this?
