Today i rescanned my library and suddenly my premiered date only has year instead of day/month/year.
I always used UMS and always with the same settings found here http://pastebin.com/xjjLgmdR

/edit
Using Krypton Alpha 2 btw

Same problem with Krypton, I can't scrape release date..

can you add Persian/IR to TMDB? maybe in future versions.
Just add "fa" and "fa-ir" language code. I have to do it manually every time.

Maybe they missed to update some frontend? Are you using the official skin?

Razze, I think Krypton now supports premiered field. I've manually added <premiered> to .nfo file and it's scanned correctly.
maybe it's a scraper related problem.

I'm using official skin and Estuary MOD.

I did see a <premiered> field in database and it only contained year.

It's not such a big problem for me but noticed it during scrapping.

Don't really get what this is about? UMS has never ever scraped premiered date, so the behavior of a non-existing feature could not changed.

Who is then providing premiere date during scrapping?

RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - olympia - 2016-07-19

I have no idea... where do you see this info in the GUI? Can you post a screenshot and/ or debug.log of a scraping during which this data get fetched?

Thanks for the link Razze. Smile

So guys, Is there any Scraper that scrape the premiered/full date?

///Edit: finally found it Smile))
just update your TheMovieDB to 3.9.2 and it's scrapes premiered date perfectly. I just wounder that UMS add this feature too.

tmdb update has your languages as well... I hope this helps.

Adding premiered date is not trivial to UMS as imdb doesn't have this info in a date format... I will need to see how this can be done on a smart way.

Yeah, I noticed that, really thanks for it olympia.
I hope you find a way to get UMS working as well,
Good luck. Wink

RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - wesmith104 - 2016-08-01

Please could you advise me how I use this .
I have it installed but cannot find how to run it (ie cannot request any movie meta data) when watching movies from any source. I am using FREETELLY package.

RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - wesmith104 - 2016-08-01

Sorry for stupid question. Universal Movie Scraper installed. How do I use it?
CTL key? Key combination?

RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - TRaSH - 2016-08-01

It's a scraper for your movie collection,
It's used the same as tmdb scraper.
Add your source then you get the question what the source is and you set it to movies and choose the scraper to get the info for you.

RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - tars - 2016-08-04

I'm trying to scrape Rotten Tomatoes critics rating, but here's the problem.
Kodi database already knows IMDb id of each movie in my collection, but I can't make Kodi (or this scraper) use IMDb ID (instead of filename) while searching.
The result is much longer time to scrape and lots of missing, misidentified movies.

Given that OMDb API supports IMDb ID search, this might be a Kodi issue.
Anyway I'll describe what I'm doing, and please tell me if there's a better way.

Current database knows IMDb id and IMDb rating of each movie.
Now how can I make Kodi rescrape only rating with tomatometer?
Of course, simply changing scraper setting and update library doesn't do this.
I have to select the video source> "change content"> set the content to none> exit, and then set the content to "movie" again with a new rating setting for this scraper.
And clicking on update library starts getting the new rating but the already known info (including IMDb ID) is completely gone and it's searching out of filename with lots of misidentified movies.

So is it not possible to rescrape only a certain field with Kodi?

No, it is not.
