What version scraper?
Which movie?
Debug log (wiki)

The minimum information that you should have provided.
The latest version 4.1.5
All movies, it started some time in December and now any movie I add is missing certification (NR).
It happens on both Kodi devices, one is raspberry pi, the other is asus chromebox both running Libreelec. As for logs, I wonder when should I capture the log, start with adding a new movie that will need to be scanned?
Make sure you change configuration on the source using 'change content" from the context menu and NOT from the addons manager.
I think you need to change the certification source from US (Or USA) to United States if you use IMDb.

Yep, the final piece is the Debug log (wiki)

  1. remove one of your problem movies from your library. Best to run a Clean Library also.
  2. Enable Debugging mode. Go to Settings>System Settings>Logging and it should be the first option
  3. Restart Kodi
  4. Replicate the problem. For you, that means scraping in the movie you just removed.
  5. Upload the results to https://pastebin.com/ or https://paste.ubuntu.com/ and link back here.
Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs

Thanks.
Full logs per your instructions https://pastebin.com/Jt4XdJih thanks.

I tried that and it was already set for United States and IMDB. Thanks.

 An exodus "customer" again... Sad

Are you sure you have done this setting on the source and not in the settings menu?

Right you are, thanks a lot. I guess the USA option was removed at some point causing the rating to fail.

.nfo information - Duff Man - 2018-03-17

Great work and thank you for the best video data scraper in Kodi.

I love that you can export Universal Movie Scraper data to an .nfo file.

omdb api will export tomato and meta critic data scores to the .nfo file only when Kodi creates a new .nfo file.

When I update .nfo’s i can not get Kodi to update the tomato and meta critic metadata scores.

All other information is updated correctly. IMDb scores, top 250, actors, art, etc. to the old .nfo file.

How can I update old .nfo files with tomato and critic movie scores metadata?

The only way I see is to delete all .nfo files and start over.

Please help me find an easier way.

Thanks

cheers

RE: Universal Movie Scraper - Benna - 2018-03-17

Please, i need one answer: i use Kodi on a NAS (my main server) on a MAC and on Windows 10.
On both the NAS and MAC i've no problem in scanning library contents, but on Windows 10 happens that when i try to update the library the Add-On Universal Movie Scraper takes literally ages to start scanning (also half an hour).

The strange thing to me is that this happen also when i scan my TV series folder, where i don't use Universal Movie Scraper, but TheTVDB instead.

Is this just my problem?
I've also performed another test, i've installed kodi from scratch deleting the Kodi folder under "Roaming" windows folder, i've installed just the Universal Movie Scraper Addo-on and tried scanning the library and the problem persist.
Anyone else out there with the same problem?

RE: Universal Movie Scraper - Karellen - 2018-03-17

Hello @Benna

Yes, this seems to be a problem localised to your equipment.

You will need to provide a Debug_Log (wiki). The instructions are in my signature. Use the Basic method. Once you have enabled debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging, restart Kodi then replicate the problem. In your case, run an Update Library, but make sure you have a movie in there that requires scraping into the library, even if that means deleting one out of your library first. Once done upload to https://pastebin.com/ or https://paste.ubuntu.com/ and link back here. Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs

RE: Universal Movie Scraper - Benna - 2018-03-18

Done everything but the problem is that i got an error message when uploading the log file via "Kodi Logfile Uploader" because the maximum accepted size is 1 MB but mine is 29 MB.
Can i share with you my log file via dropbox?

RE: Universal Movie Scraper - Karellen - 2018-03-18

Sorry, no. We don't download files from dropbox.

You need to restart Kodi when you enable debug mode. Did you do that?. If you did, then I cannot see how your log can be 29MB in size with a restart.

RE: Universal Movie Scraper - Benna - 2018-03-18

I did, but i have SO MANY EPG programs and many movies. I'll try in a different way, thanks for the support, hope to b able to send you the log

RE: Universal Movie Scraper - Karellen - 2018-03-18

Well, your epg and movie count must be in the tens of thousands.

You can manually upload the log to https://paste.ubuntu.com/ The log location depends on what operating system you are using. List is here... https://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Advanced#Location

Can you tell us which version of the scraper you have installed.

RE: Universal Movie Scraper - Benna - 2018-03-18

Addon version is 4.1.7.

Log file is too heavy and also manually updating i receive the message:

"Bad Gateway
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server"

RE: Universal Movie Scraper - Karellen - 2018-03-18

Hmm, that might be indicative of your problem with the scraper.

I know you are here on the forum, but are you having other internet issues?

RE: Universal Movie Scraper - Benna - 2018-03-18

Well, after scrolling many and many lines on the log file i've seen these messages:

"23:10:17.304 T:12936 WARNING: XFILE::CWin32SMBDirectory::ConnectAndAuthenticate: Can't connect to "\\NAS\Disco1" with username "admin" and with password because of conflict of credential. Will try to close current connections.
23:10:19.204 T:12936 WARNING: Previous line repeats 2 times.
23:10:19.204 T:12936 WARNING: XFILE::CWin32SMBDirectory::ConnectAndAuthenticate: Can't connect to "\\NAS\Disco1" with username "admin" and with password. Error code: 1219"

So i've search this string on google and found that there was a thread here with a guy having the same issue:
https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=214536

After deleting the password file (in which there was the "admin" username, now the folder scanning is smooth as usual.
Sorry for having bothered you all, at least your suggestion for extracting the log file helped me in sorting out the problem Smile
