Putty Login & password - bretttf - 2012-04-26 Hi, I successfully jailbroke my APV2 yesterday using seasonpass. I installed XBMC too and that works ok. I wanted to install Nito and Plex and some other apps but I cant no longer log on to my ATV2 using Putty. It wont accept the password alpine. I havent changed anything from yesterday, in fact due to being at work I've hardly had time to use my ATV2. In Putty I am typing this - ssh [email protected] Then it wont accept the password alpine. I know you dont get to see what is being typed but it displays an error message - Access denied Then after 3 attempts it closes the Putty browser. Thanks Brett RE: Putty Login & password - HenryFord - 2012-04-26 (2012-04-26, 13:07)bretttf Wrote: ssh [email protected]Try to just input the IP - without the "ssh root@" and then use username: root and password:alpine to logon. That should work. |
