Xbmc very slow on tv monitor - Havacore - 2012-07-09 I'm running xbmc on a hp pavillion dv6000 with nvidia geforce 6150. It runs smoothly when I run it just on the laptop, but when I connect it to a tv monitor via VGA, xbmc runs really slowly, and not just when watching movies/shows etc, but in menus as well. RE: Xbmc very slow on tv monitor - aarmath - 2012-07-15 This is the same problem that I am facing but with a huge twist. I have a custom desktop machine with an AMD 64-bit Athlon with 2 GB RAM & a Radeon 9800 Pro. Yep an old machine but still chugs along fine. And yes the display out is connected directly to my TV via HDMI. Just a hunch, Can you check in the Video options what is the details of your Graphics adaptor? In my case it says - "Software Renderer". Si I presume my drivers are missing. In your case if the name of yoyr adaptor shows correctly, then go to the System options & in Video options click on the Vertical Sync Interval (If it has not been done already). |
