Anyone else having issues with the music scraper? I've not been able to get any info for anything

I posted this just a few days ago, but here it is again...

Usually this is an issue with the website that is being scrapped being slow. I notice this at certain times of the week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, before a holiday, etc) when I guess those websites are getting hammered for artwork requests. If you wait a day or two, it will usually clear up, and everything will work correctly in ME again.

The flaw in that theory is this.

Movies and tv are working perfectly right now and all 3 use fanart.tv
I've been trying to use music for the last week at various times of the day... with zero luck... I've tried with all 3 scrapers selected as default.
Even when I have problems with ME a program like Tiny Media Manager still works....
The problem has to be within ME....

Believe the issue is caused by this:
Quote:IMPORTANT UPDATE: Unfortunately, we've reached the limit our bandwidth this month after unprecedented demand on our API
We're busy making improvements behind the scenes and hope to be back as soon as possible.
The site will return on Feb 1st or earlier if possible. Feel free to donate, however, small to keep us going in the meantime...

Which explains why ME isn't getting a response from TheAudioDB, Could the dev not use another service?

If I have access on Feb 1st I'll be more than happy to send in a donation.

Sorry if dumb question, but I have this problem: sometimes, the poster I change to a movie (that I save and sync to Kodi) doesn't appear in Kodi, which displays the default poster it picked in the initial scan.

If i check the movie folder, i correctly see all the files (including MovieName-poster.jpg).

What can cause this and how do I fix?

It happens only for some movies.

When I was disagreeing with you it was because I misunderstood you. I thought you meant that the AudioDB was simply overwhelmed with traffic in general and couldn't keep up. I didn't know there was a limit of total bandwidth for them per month.

Yeah, I see the site... just meant not working through ME :-(

Well, actually not totally true... If I select an artist that I already have an nfo for then I can scrape artist thump and fanart.
But it wont rescrape an artist info or a new artist. And nothing from fanarttv works like logo and disc art.

RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win (with music library scraping) - huttdes - 2017-02-02

Doesn't appear that we are going to get any music support from ME anytime soon. But as far as I know there are no other media managers like this that handle music.... besides a ton of manual work does anyone know of any alternatives?

You can try playing with this. It's old but I'm having some moderate success.

RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win (with music library scraping) - Dragen - 2017-02-05

Settings used for sets/collection is ignored when scraping movies. I have it set to Don't use, but it's still scraping TMDB's idiotic "xyz collection".

Hi,
I have really enjoyed your app and have used it a great deal. I do have one question. there are some episodes (i.e. nameofshow.s01e00) according to imdb and tvdb that media elch does not recognize. Is there a way to get it to recognize these episodes so that I can load it on to kodi. If you could let me know that would be great.
