RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - vanMiez - 2012-11-09 hey there, great program so far, but how could i add network locations as source folders? am i missing something obvious? MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Komet - 2012-11-10 Just mount them as network drive. I also changed the file dialog in the upcoming version 1.2 but I need to check if directly adding network drives is working in Windows. RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - George - 2012-11-10 I just found out the hard way that MediaElch doesn't write the episodeguide tag to the tvshow.nfo file. I was trying to add The Wire DVD ISO's to my library but XBMC couldn't find them no matter what name I gave them. After searching I found out XBMC was looking for an episodeguidetag so it can download all the episodes, like this: Code: <tvshow> After I added it to the nfo file it worked fine. Is it possible to add this to MediaElch? RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Komet - 2012-11-11 @George: Yes, I'll add it. RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Dragen - 2012-11-11 v1.1 just hangs when starting. "Searching for TV shows... 0%" Nothing happens. RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Komet - 2012-11-11 (2012-11-11, 20:23)Dragen Wrote: v1.1 just hangs when starting. Please wait for 1.2, should be fixed already. RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Dragen - 2012-11-11 And when is that? Another 3 weeks? RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Komet - 2012-11-11 (2012-11-11, 20:32)Dragen Wrote: And when is that? Another 3 weeks? You're free to contribute and help improving with patches made by you, or compile the latest version on your own. And you're also free to use your time, write your own media manager, give it away for free and let then people blame at you. Short info for all others: I know I said the next version will come by the end of this week, but I'm too busy at the moment so it'll take another few days. RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Aros - 2012-11-11 - to Dragen and + to Komet. Dragen, shame on you! RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Linusorg - 2012-11-11 Hi Komet, pls take all your time you need. Forget comments like the one from dragen. Sorry that this forum has such members. RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - ICDeadPpl - 2012-11-11 Twonks like Dragen think they're entitled to instant support and bug squashing on an open source project, which is developed the developer's own free time, for free/gratis. Keep up the good work, Komet, and don't let disparaging comments like Dragen's affect you! RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Komet - 2012-11-12 Thanks for all your nice words! Good to know that most of you understand that MediaElch is an opensource project, developed in spare time, and that there may be bugs and only a very limited support. The version 1.2 is ready now and can be downloaded at http://mediaelch.kvibes.net/download RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - ArieS - 2012-11-12 Thanks a lot Komet! But one thing let me freaked out: What have I done to make the movie titles in the list get red and cursive?! I haven't found anything about this in changelog or your blog entry. |
