"/Android/data/org.xbmc.xbmc/files" but no "/cache" and so no log-file...

Also got trakt to work on my Windows-PC. Applied the same settings to the android-installation but it does nothing. I'm confused Sad.

I don't have any android devices to test unfortunately. It might be some other settings like allowing 3rd party apps to control XBMC. I'd poke around in the settings and see if anything is different there.

Actually no, it's not enough to mark the option "sync after library updates".
I still need to run manually the trakt program.

here's the log (trakt log is at the bottom of the file): http://pastebin.com/K4Wp2wPU
and this is the log after running it manually (in the same xbmc session): http://pastebin.com/qeqtcDfB

I did that. Everything on the android system is exactly the same as on the windows system...

@yelo3 once the library is done updating, that triggers trakt to run. It's not simply on startup. This should be fine since it only needs to send updates after the library has items added or removed from it.

@p.h.i. I'm not really sure then, its going to be hard to guess without some sort of log file to look at.

Did you have a look at the logs? You will see it does not work as intended: after library update trakt runs and finds nothing new. Instead if launched manually it finds differences and updates watched status.

Question: when the library is updated but does not find updated items, what does trakt do when it runs? Does it scan the whole library?

Found it! :-)

Anything from that?

Is absolute ordering supported for syncing TV? Doesn't seem to be, my anime won't sync. Looks like it relies on season/episode number instead of tvdb ID.

RE: [RELEASE] trakt.tv tv/movie scrobbler - tspen - 2013-02-18

I cannot for the life of me get this working with Openelec 3.0 RC2.

I get a message saying incorrect username/password. I've checked that they are correct in the xml file.

It seems like it's not receiving a JSON response that checks username/password? Though the network is definitely working as the RSS Feeds fire up shortly after.

Perhaps that first request is being sent before the network is up due to the way OpenELEC works? Not 100% sure though, just a guess.

Here are my xbmc.log:

Any ideas?

trakt won't scrobble on my xbmc, here's my log file. Any help would be much appreciated

Sorry, I'm not quite sure. Is the sync supposed to be so slow? With trakt utilities in Eden it would sync in seconds. Now the thing just sits there indefinitely.

I watched Tunnelbanan.S02E05.SWEDiSH.PDTV.x264-D2V.mp4 yesterday, why didn't that scrobble?

mmusembi, looking at your log file, for some reason the trakt plugin started 3 times, not sure why, and each time it never fully initialized, its missing a few key log entries which indicate its completely loaded. because of this, its not doing anything beyond this point.

zappe, you need to enable the debug setting in the trakt plugin (then restart the plugin) so it will log more information, as it sits, there isn't really anything in your log file thats useful. there is however one item that might help

Quote:20:03:36 T:3284 WARNING: No information found for item 'smb://ZPP/ftp2/incoming/#NT#/tv/Tunnelbanan.S02E05.SWEDiSH.PDTV.x264-D2V/', it won't be added to the library.
this entry, indicates that no metadata was found for this particular file and it was not added to your library, since there's no metadata, the plugin won't scrobble it as there is no information to scrobble (you played it via file mode).

Ok, I will enable debug mode.

How can I fix the metadata problem?
Can't I play via file mode and get scrobbled?

scrobbling only works in library mode. as for the metadata problem, that means its not scraping your tv shows properly, do you have the source setup to scrape against thetvdb? otherwise, you'll need to get this sorted out before trakt will scrobble/sync stuff
