I just switched from traktr.
I have issues with the rating dialog. It opens only about 50% of the times I finish a movie.
When the rating dialog does not show, the movie does not get marked as watched too.

Hi,
Trakt is working great for me , I've been synchronising from the site and back to my xbmc.
I recently marked a show watched by mistake when I had only seen 3 seasons of it not 4.
I've been going back to the site and deleting the "watched" status from all the episodes for season 4.
Unfortunately when trakt syncs again, they all return to their watched status - on the website and on xbmc.
Is there any way of correcting this back to unwatched ? I've tried force downloading and saving option, but nothing seems to change the watched status.

I've had this problem a few times and it's usually easily fixed.
The trick is to disable the trakt addon before toggling the episodes to unwatched in xbmc, then removing them from the website (to be sure, remove them from both Collection and History), and only then re-enabling the trakt addon and running it.
If that isn't working, something else is up. This more thorough approach should work:
First, in xbmc trakt settings, switch off the tv settings EXCEPT clean shows from trakt. Make sure that is on.
Also, make sure trakt is set NOT to run after library update.
Now, in XBMC, make note of where you are in the TV show, and then remove it and all episodes from the library.
(alternatively, just remove the episodes that have been incorrectly marked watched)
Now run trakt manually, so it will delete the tv show and all episodes from the website.
Check the show is deleted from trakt - check both collection, and history, and remove them from both.
Now update xbmc library so it picks up the tv shows again. Check watched statuses are correct, and set them manually if not.
Now run trakt manually and check all is well.

How should I get personal ratings tags working? I enabled it in the add-on, the watchlist tags are working, but no personal ratings appear. Do I need to configure something in XBMC to enable this?

Hi guys,
Im wondering why trakt isn't picking up when I watch tv shows that are in my videos folder.
What I mean is XBMC, has a TV SHOWS section on the front page and also, MOVIES, VIDEOS.
I have it set up so as that in TV SHOWS - complete seasons are there (generally BluRay rips). In the VIDEOS tab I watch episodes that I download weekly. I just like to keep the weekly episodes separate from complete series of shows.
Can trakt track the TV shows I watch through the videos folder?

That will be why they aren't getting uploaded to trakt. You need to scan them into the library, if you want them stored on the trakt site. You can remove them manually or clean the library periodically once you have watched and deleted them.

Add the folder you drop them into as a video source: it's something like Videos -> Files --> Add Source.

They are already added to my XBMC library, they are just not showing up on trakt
