@MeMeMe maybe you can just use the direct JSON text from the API? You can hit the trakt API with your own API key (under settings) to get the raw data the plugin uses. For example, check out http://trakt.tv/api-docs/user-library-shows-watched and http://trakt.tv/api-docs/user-library-movies-watched.

I have restored my library with a problem.
I had set up a bunch of lists in XBMC, using the tagging feature, and they had synced to the trakt website.
Now I have reinstalled my library, and run trakt, but the lists are not syncing back to xmbc tags. How do I get that working?

a) you have watched a program, and that is scrobbled to trakt
b) you then mark it as unwatched
c) and then it gets marked back to watched
then this is standard behaviour with the plugin.
You can change the sync settings in the Trakt addon settings -> synchronise.
Look for Update XBMC TV playcounts and Update XBMC Movie playcounts, and uncheck them.
That should stop it grabbing the watched status from the trakt site and reapplying to xbmc (if that's what you're wanting to achieve)

I have a problem with one of my xbmc installations, where the first playback on any video becomes extremely choppy the first 10-15 seconds. After fiddeling with everything i could think of i started to disable plugins.
After disabeling Trakt 2.3.1 the choppy playback disappear. Tried a couple of times with enabeling and disabeling, and confirm, the choppy playback has something to do with Trakt. I notice high cpu utilization and uneven fps before it stabilizes after 10-15 seconds. I had an old version of trakt script 2.1.0 that I tried, and there was no choppy playback there. Went back to 2.3.1 and also test gitversion of 2.3.2, and the choppy playback is there again.
This is on a asrock ion windows platform with xbmc 12.2. I do have other installations of xbmc running with trakt , and no problem with choppy playback.
A bit strange is that it is the first playback that becomes choppy (after starting xbmc). If stopped and started again, there will be no choppy playback. strange shit..

So I apologize, I'm a little confused. Does this plugin drop my library into Trakt, in the "Collections" areas in my profile? I think the OP says it doesn't, that its just a scrobbler, but looking at other people's posts, its sounds like there is a way to do that?
Or did you all just scrobble your entire library

It started out just as a scrobbler, but it has many more features now.
It can sync your entire collection to trakt, and sync all your current watched data to trakt as well.
Plus, if you have stuff marked watched in trakt, it can mark those programs watched in xbmc too. It's very handy for keeping watched records synchronised between different machines, especially for those who dont want to set up a centralised database.

Hi, love this great addon and thanks for all the time you have given for this. I have just one problem, not problem per se, but rather if i had the option of doing so, it would be awesome for me. So, I have a lot of unseen shows in my XBMC and I religiously use Trakt to track my shows. So when I use Pseudo.Tv live or just SURF all of my channels, it invariably marks the episode as seen(although I was just surfing) and ruins my actual showings. What I would like is to not bother using trakt whilst using Pseudo.tv, but rather only use it when I watch shows from the media library. So, is there anyway to disable Trakt to interact with Pseudo.tv or vice versa? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
