RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - fernandovg - 2012-10-27 Does anybody knows the "timeout" of the scrapper process or its a add-on config? I'm getting a lot of this: 11:20:59 T:1223083072 ERROR: VideoInfoScanner: Asked to lookup episode /media/SAMSUNG/Divx/1- Novas Series/666 Park Avenue/Season 1/666.Park.Avenue.S01E04.1080p.WEB-DL.DD5.1.H.264-ECI.mkv online, but we have no episode guide. Check your tvshow.nfo and make sure the <episodeguide> tag is in place. I'm using 99% of my bandwidth now (downloading stuff) so I guess the scrapper is getting a timeout and are not receiving any data so this error happens. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - asshep - 2012-10-27 Quote:pictures are in the right aspect ratio in version r12268Yes, but still ugly. Edit: And freezes while scrolling through my Videos. I think 256MB is really not enough. And I'm talking about Music / Video Lables (Posters). Not Fanart as Backdrop Use this Settings on my 256MB raspi Quote: <fanartres>256</fanartres> RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - misa - 2012-10-27 Maybe a stupid question. ....when I turn of XBMC on my Raspberry...how do I turn it on again besides to unplug the power and ssh? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - xbs08 - 2012-10-27 Don't turn it off. Snappier response browsing the media which is great. Unfortunately for me it's not usable as a media player. Low resolution (624x352) xvid files lag the video drastically until ~60s into the video the entire thing freezes (reboot or killall xbmc.bin necessary). The same videos worked pre-upgrade with no overclocking. Re-encoding the video to x264 naturally plays smooth as silk. But if I seek to a position in the video (including "resume from..." when playing the audio completely disappears. try r12282 from http://sources.openelec.tv/tmp/image/ and report back (this build was not tested from me because the TV is busy with other things!):-) thanks Stephan RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - RiJo - 2012-10-28 (2012-10-27, 23:30)sraue Wrote:(2012-10-26, 15:53)rbej Wrote:(2012-10-26, 04:47)mactalla Wrote: Just upgraded to r12268 from an ancient r11904. Updated to r12282 (from r12055) this morning, and can't seem to play XviD files at all anymore. If I start playback of an XviD file, the screen turns black and there's no sound. Pressing Escape or 'X' during playback works as normal. Screen blacks out and returns to main menu. Without subtitles everytings is playing correctly. These drivers are available as media build, and althogh Chris swan creates some builds for us with the media build drivers inside, I realy think it would be easy for you guys to just put it in so we can have our checap cheap dvb cards supported from the getgo. This is the link to his blog: http://blog.thestateofme.com/2012/09/29/openelec-with-media_build/ This is the link to the media builds (notice not all versions are there because I believe he has other things to do also): http://resources.pichimney.com/OpenELEC.PVR/with_media_build/?C=M;O=D This is the link for the RPI and tvheaend: http://tandrepires.wordpress.com/2012/08/01/raspberry-pi-openelec-pvr-dvb-t/ and lastly here are the instructions just in case you dont know ( ) 2) Cloning OpenELEC project $ git clone git://github.com/OpenELEC/OpenELEC.tv.git We need Stefan Saraev OpenELEC media_build support so let’s create a temporary directory: $ mkdir temp $ cd temp $ git clone https://github.com/stefansaraev/OpenELEC.tv.git $ cd OpenELEC.tv 3) Pull that commit that really interest us! $ git cherry-pick 3f6b9aa $ git pull origin media_build $ cp -R packages/linux-drivers/media_build/ ../../OpenELEC.tv/packages/linux-drivers/ $ cp tools/mkpkg/mkpkg_media_build ../../OpenELEC.tv/tools/mkpkg/ $ cd ../.. $ rm -rf temp 4) Editing RaspberryPi project options (use your favorite text editor, i used nano) $ cd OpenELEC.tv $ nano projects/RPi/options Search for ADDITIONAL_DRIVERS and replace this line: ADDITIONAL_DRIVERS=”$ADDITIONAL_DRIVERS AF9035 A867 aver_h826d RTL2832 hdhomerun-driver vtuner-driver” with this: ADDITIONAL_DRIVERS=”$ADDITIONAL_DRIVERS media_build” Is there any chance to see this for openelec streight out of the box dvb intgration?? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - pettergulbra - 2012-10-28 Where did you find r12283? I only find: r12282 RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - alon24 - 2012-10-28 http://openelec.thestateofme.com/ RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - pettergulbra - 2012-10-28 (2012-10-28, 21:31)alon24 Wrote: http://openelec.thestateofme.com/ I havent tried OpenElec yet, so I want to try the best one out. Thanks for the link. Is it just to follow the normal installation guide? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - sstavross - 2012-10-29 I've just tried the 12280 build and it still lacks .ape suport. The files (from samba share) starts to play and after 1-2 seconds it jumps like fast forward. I have reported the issue a couple of months ago, it seems now to me a little better impovement :-) Will this be fixed somehow? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - alon24 - 2012-10-29 Has anyone managed to get pvr. Working for them, I tried on the latest version with tvheadend on my home server and the rpi would watch the first channel but when I tried to move to the next channel it. Would just show a black screen RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - Nodge - 2012-10-29 Just tried R12280 & R12290. Pleased that photos and slideshows now display at the correct aspect ratio. On the downside I'm now getting a couple of loud pops whenever a video starts to play. |
