Yes.

PS. This bug is fixed.

https://github.com/OpenELEC/OpenELEC.tv/commit/7ca6d6f50bf1b0f74e05a533d8d14045187baa2f

and build 12431 compile with no problem.

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - Knofbath - 2012-11-08

Alright, I'm running OpenELEC-rPi build r12431, and I'm having problems with lagging Karaoke on a 720p h264 video. A separate issue is that I'm noticing it takes a long time to create the Demuxer, about a minute and a half if I am reading the log right.

Relevant error for subtitles is:
Code:
12:20:56 T:2954179680 WARNING: CRenderManager::FlipPage - timeout waiting for previous frame
12:21:49 T:2920625248 WARNING: Previous line repeats 68 times.

I'm guessing that the issue is from all the fancy karaoke effects, similar to problems with vsfilter on the PC. The solution for vsfilter is to switch to xy-vsfilter, wondering if it's the same deal on the rPi.

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - Milhouse - 2012-11-08

Testing with r12383 and r12431, audio over HDMI, and I'm noticing that every now and again - sometimes as often as every few minutes - the audio volume will significantly reduce for about 5-10 seconds, then return to normal. Happens with movies (DD and DTS), and also music (mp3 being the example I'm listening to right now).

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - Wanderlei - 2012-11-10

r12381, moved SD card from 256mb board to 512mb board, all artwork disappeared. Only altered config.txt for memory split and remove overclock. Put back in 256 board, artwork still missing. All movie/tv info still available only artwork was gone.

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - Goofy2 - 2012-11-12

Updated from r12350 to r12457, random blurry pictures during slideshow disappeared, no xbmc freeze so far when playing music on top of slideshow. I have a question about the overall picture quality. I used to have 720p to avoid upscaling. After upgrade picture quality is worse than it used to be. Doesn't matter if I use 720p or 1080p. I am using 21" monitor so I can be just mistaken. Anyone else has the same experience?

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - rbej - 2012-11-12

I compile own builds with GUI 1080p and picutre quality is very good.

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - Goofy2 - 2012-11-13

One more issue - the movement in picture slideshow is not smooth. I thought it has something to do with the Lircd and GPIO receiver I tested today, but even with disabled lircd, the picture movement is not smooth. It starts slow and than accelerate during every picture. Even on ssh there some short freeze moments which I haven't experienced before. Anyone else?

MythTV PVR: No Video - hkramski - 2012-11-13

I was very happy to learn r12457 comes with a MythTV PVR client (cmyth, 0.5.0) so I finally am able to connect to my MythTV backend (0.23.0+fixes24158-0ubuntu2). EPG, channel list, timers - all working well, great!

However, trying to switch to a live channel only produces an "Arbeitet... (Working...)" spinner forever, no picture, no sound.
Backend status shows the channel to be tuned correctly on the MythTV box.

XBMC only seems to respond to the X key (stop) in this situation, which stops the spinner but otherwise causes XMBC to hang. (Recordings don't play as well, but without a hang.)

Not that live TV is a top priority to me - after all, the RasPi is attached to a TV set. Scheduling MythTV recordings from the EPG without leaving the couch is the most important feature and works very well. Just wanted to share my experience.

Heinz

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - xandy - 2012-11-15

Try 12485

How-to update OpenELEC

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - xandy - 2012-11-15

Ive tried 12485 as well with same results. I noticed first of all there were issues with lcdproc (i got a message up saying failure to connect..).

Andy

I've just tried R12485 and got no response from my wireless keyboard either.

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi - itsonlyme - 2012-11-15

Having similar problems to xandy and nodge in that I have the lcdproc issue and non working remote, although wireless keyboard does work. All was OK with 12458. Is not OK with 12467, 12469 and 12485.

Can give very little info about my remote. Many moons ago I loaded "Windows Media Remote Settings" on to a Logitech Harmony remote, and set it up with a USB IR Receiver alll on Windows XP but I never posessed an actual Windows Media Remote. Eventually I moved on to other things and last April when I got my Raspberry dug the IR receiver out of the junk drawer and found these settings worked with raspberry. Has continued to work fine until now.

What did you do with 12467Huh...
