it says there is a dutch stream but is not showig any.

Edit// already found the problem, some channels have a delay more tha 3000ms on de subtitle track, than it wont show subs on xbmc/kodi, channels with 500 to 1000ms sub delay it works all above de 1000ms it wont work.

Hi! I'm using this fantastic add-on and everything is working perfectly. But just a question, How I can disable the annyiong "Unable to connect to DVBViewer Recording Service..." everytime I wakeup my HTPC? Because I never shutdown my HTPC, only sleep (S3) with a custom script to kill Kodi before sleep and run again (kodi-standalone, without window-manager in backend) after wakeup

Thanks again Wink

You can disable this in Kodi-Settings under "liveTV".

hide connect message.

In german: "Die Verbindung verloren Warnung ausblenden"

RE: [Release] DVBViewer Recording Service PVR - tocinillo - 2014-12-10

Yes, I have enabled that option, but thanks.

The "Hide connect message" works perfectly If I shutdown and poweron my HTPC (or with hibernate) but not with suspend (killing and starting kodi).

Regards,

My guess is Kodi will show the message once after startup.

Hi again! I found a bug I think. Original thread: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=165707&pid=1861356#pid1861356

When I try to play any livetv chanel from 60 Hz, Kodi doesn't change to properly Hz (50 Hz. in my case). This is very rare because with Gotham all works fine. I see my log with Kodi:

NOTICE: fps: 0.000000, pwidth: 720, pheight: 576, dwidth: 720, dheight: 405

Now in the same machine with Gotham (I reinstalled to check):

NOTICE: fps: 25.000000, pwidth: 720, pheight: 576, dwidth: 720, dheight: 405

So the problem is the DVBViewer add-on (I can't test the 1.9.15 in Kodi), really?

RE: [Release] DVBViewer Recording Service PVR - fenano - 2014-12-20

Hi,

First of all, thanks for the awesome plugin. I'm having a problem with audio tracks and subtitles as I only get the first audio track and no subs. If I change the plugin config to RTSP, then I get the extra audio tracks and subs, but I lose the timeshifting.

Is there a way to have it all?

I'm using XBMC 13.2 on a win7 x64

Thanks

Your DVBViewer Recording Service isn't configured correctly. Check out http://en.dvbviewer.tv/wiki/Options_Service_-_Web/UPnP#Streams_to_send

And something general: The DVBViewer PVR does *no* demuxing. It's either passing the TS/RTSP stream URL to Kodi, which fetches the data on its own. Or, if timeshift is enabled, it's fetching the TS stream, writes the data to disk and let Kodi read from this file. Inside Kodi demuxing is handled by ffmpeg.
So there is *no* way the PVR can be responsible for missing DVB subtitles, missing audio streams, wrong refresh rates, ...

RE: [Release] DVBViewer Recording Service PVR - NatroN - 2014-12-22

I'm using kodi and this plugin as only solution for TV with 2 CAMs - everything works perfect and as expected. Only ONE think dvbviewer alone does better - recording options. There's no way to shut down my mediacenter after a recording has finished. At the moment I do this within the webinterface of dvbviewer rec service - but it would be awesome if xbmc could ask what to do after the recording.

Just let the system shutdown itself as soon as it's idle: http://kodi.wiki/view/Settings/System#Power_saving

RE: [Release] DVBViewer Recording Service PVR - NatroN - 2014-12-23

ok - this would be great.

So I'll turn the autoshutdown ON start me record and stop the "normal" tv stream and it will go to sleep after the record has ended?

This would be awesome. I'll try Smile

RE: [Release] DVBViewer Recording Service PVR - manül - 2014-12-23

Yes. DVBViewer RS will prevent standby as long as it's recording.

RE: [Release] DVBViewer Recording Service PVR - alex.ba - 2014-12-26

Hi all,

I'm using release 1.9.18 in Kodi14. In gerneral it works but as soon as I switch on a decrypted channel it takes up to one minute to get back the controll of the system. I tried tvheadend to see if there's the same problem. No there is not...it's only using the RecService Client. I'm usind the release 1.30.1 on a windows machine.

Any ideas to that?

Regards,

Alex

RE: [Release] DVBViewer Recording Service PVR - Uukrul - 2015-01-03

There is a problem with Kodi and channel settings if I use the channels mini OSD ('c' key) to switch between channels. For example: tune a channel, change the audio track or the zoom amount and switch to another channel with the channels mini OSD -> the settings for the previous channel are kept.

It works as intended with Gotham or Kodi and another PVR like Argus TV.

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work Smile
