Question about subtitle selection - _Daniel_ - 2012-10-06 Hello, I have a simple question about the subtitle selection in XBMC. Let us assume we habe the following files Example Movie - Example movie.mkv - Subs -- Example movie.idx -- Example movie.sub I have to admit that I don’t really know much about subtitles so I have done some research today. If I have done it right the .idx-File just contains timestamps and the reference to the .sub-File and the .sub-file contains “Bitmap-Subtitles” (or something like that). So the .idx-File and the .sub-File contains together ONE Subtitle. When I now look at the movie in XBMC it tells me that there are two subtitles (the .mkv movie does not contain any subtitles!). I had done some more test like that: Example Movie2 - Example movie2.mkv - Subs -- Example movie2.de.idx -- Example movie2.de.sub -- Example movie2.en.idx -- Example movie2.en.sub The example above had two subtitles (if I understood it right). XBMC say that there are four. Now my question is: Is this a Bug, did I understood something wrong or do I have configured something wrong? Thanks! RE: Question about subtitle selection - Ned Scott - 2012-10-06 Sounds like a bug. |
