Hi mmrocha,

unfortunately we are (atm) not providing any web access, because tmm is fully designed to be a standalone app.

Meanwhile you can use it as a terminal app as IceNine described

greetings
Manuel

Thanks Manuel... installed xfce to use with your GREAT software.

I'm using it whith command line, but having a problem. When I do force scrape it says the rating was too low < 0.75, but I want to use it as a automated scrapper, I don't mind if it gets wrong data eventualy... I Looked into options and i can't change this 0,75. Is there anyway to change this?

And here is a suggestion. Since it has comand line that i can use on cron, a email and/or NMA ( notify my android ) warning when it finds movies or tv shows would be awesame

RE: tinyMediaManager - a media manager written in Java (Win/Mac/Linux) - dhead - 2013-10-24

Running now tmm in chroagh, chroot Arch Linux (XFCE), on Samsung Chromebook Arm.

Success.

edit: it doesn't really usefull as I don't got nfs service on Chrome OS, better run Linux nativly, but it still cool to have tmm running perfectly without any issue.
edit 2: sshfs works, Smile .

RE: tinyMediaManager - a media manager written in Java (Win/Mac/Linux) - mlaggner - 2013-10-28

28.10.2013 - version 2.4.5
feature: when getting only 1 search result at automatic scrape, we assume it is the right one (and take it - ignoring the score)
feature: added update single data source to the menus
fix: on some machines, tmm crashed at startup (using oracle java 8)
fix: samples of TV show episodes will now be renamed to a samples folder
fix: added env.txt for linux users (they can now use mediainfo without drawbacks on non-UTF8 installations)
fix: tweaked import logic and media info parsing (should work better with large libraries)
fix: directory separators in movie renamer file naming will now be ignored
fix: when scraping new items in the TV show section, sometimes the whole TV show has been rescraped
fix: the TV show importer will now recognize also .tbn

RE: tinyMediaManager - a media manager written in Java (Win/Mac/Linux) - teemac - 2013-10-30

I have used MediaElch for some time, but the Dev has stopped supporting several versions ago the long term support (5 years) version of Ubuntu 12.04. I have tried to compile MediaElch, but failed miserably - so I found tMM and would like to try it - but cannot get past an MSWindows error screen.

I am on LinuxMint13 64bit Cinnamon with backports enabled (based on Ubuntu 12.04 Precise)

java -version
java version "1.6.0_27"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.12.6) (6b27-1.12.6-1ubuntu0.12.04.2)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b12, mixed mode)

I downloaded the linux netinstaller file (tmm_netinstall_linux.tar.gz) from your home page - extracted it to it's own folder and made sure 'tinyMediaManager.sh' has permission to run.

A 'tMM updater' window pops up saying:

Autodetecting proxy ... several minutes waiting.

Then it changes to another window with MSWindows error info:

Stuff about can't download game ... Windows Firewall/Norton Antivirus stopping javaw.exe from running etc. - I don't have MSWindows Huh

Asks for Proxy IP and Proxy Port - I don't use any proxies ??

Possible Internet outage etc ... OK or Cancel buttons.

I have browsed thru all 46pages here and on the new thread and can't find the same problem. Does anyone know how to get tMM started Huh?

This is the 'launcher.log' file that appears in the running folder:

RE: tinyMediaManager - a media manager written in Java (Win/Mac/Linux) - myron - 2013-10-30

ok, it turns out, my initial assumption might be wrong :p

What usually happenes:
- Java gets started and connects to our google code repo, port 80
- If it cannot connect, a "enter proxy" popup opens (usually timeout after 5-10 sec, but surely not minutes!)

Can you connect to http://tinymediamanager.googlecode.com/svn/dist/digest.txt ?!

RE: tinyMediaManager - a media manager written in Java (Win/Mac/Linux) - mlaggner - 2013-10-30

the tmm updater uses a component called getdown (which was created for downloading/patching games).
The error message is from this component (that's why it says something with game in the message Wink ).

The source of the problem is, that the updater is unable to connect to our updater repository.
Do you have any special network setup? (you said you don't use a proxy); any firewall up which blocks calls from the java process?
could you try if http://tinymediamanager.googlecode.com/svn/dist/ is working in your browser?

RE: tinyMediaManager - a media manager written in Java (Win/Mac/Linux) - teemac - 2013-10-30

@myron - yes I can connect and see a list of /lib /locale / template etc in a what looks like a text file. I use Firefox 24.0 (Mint revision 1.0)
I just timed the time-out - 88seconds the first time 96 seconds the second time before the error warning came up.

@mlaggner - yes I can connect and see a list of bulleted files titled: tinymediamanager - Revision 1127: /dist

I have no special network setup - just default out of the box.
I have no special firewalls installed other than the standard one at default settings in the ADSL Modem.

any other thoughts - thanks.

RE: tinyMediaManager - a media manager written in Java (Win/Mac/Linux) - mlaggner - 2013-10-30

could you append a complete launcher.log here? the lines above seem to be incomplete (at least I have more lines in my log)

btw: do you use a router which does the dial in (adsl) or is the ubuntu machine directly connecting to the internet (via pppoe or anything similar)

RE: tinyMediaManager - a media manager written in Java (Win/Mac/Linux) - teemac - 2013-10-30

@mlaggner - full log from last time out test (has added a couple of lines to previous log):

I use a D-Link DSL-G604T Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router - have had it for many years and always works OK. I don't use wireless except with my Asus Transformer Tablet. My Main computer is hard wired to the modem then to the phone socket.

I think the Modem Router does the dial in through ADSL - I'm not sure how to find out as it has always just worked.

Thanks for the quick support.

RE: tinyMediaManager - a media manager written in Java (Win/Mac/Linux) - mlaggner - 2013-10-30

ok, you could try one more thing:

open the shellscript and change it to the following:

Code:
#!/bin/bash
java -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -jar getdown.jar .

RE: tinyMediaManager - a media manager written in Java (Win/Mac/Linux) - teemac - 2013-10-30

@mlaggner - worked perfect.

Has downloaded tinyMediaManager 2.4.5 (r1125).

Thank you very much for your support, now to learn how to drive it.

Thanks again.

RE: tinyMediaManager - a media manager written in Java (Win/Mac/Linux) - mlaggner - 2013-10-30

okay, looks like you are a victim of IPv6 Big Grin

you also have to check if tmm itself has access to the internet.
If not you may have to tweak the start script once more (to pass this option beyond getdown to tmm)

Why TMM stores actors in tbn format?

(2013-10-30, 16:18)akya Wrote: Why TMM stores actors in tbn format?

that's from the "old ages" of tmm - XBMC until Frodo stored actor thumbs in .tbn
And because there is no "newer" information at the XBMC wiki, we didn't recognize Frodo is storing them no longer in .tbn..

It's already on our todo list
