Anyone running their A6-3500 machine with OpenELEC 2.0? - jangjong - 2012-10-23
so, i heard that OpenELEC 2.0 was actually released few days ago..
I am using Windows 7 + XBMC for my A6-3500 right now.
I heard the new 2.0 has better supports for fusion processors..
Is anyone using the new OpenELEC 2.0 with A6-3500?
If you are, do you feel anything different from the older beta build?

Why don't you give it a shot? and post your findings... you have experience with it on your GF's htpc.

If you do test this, I believe you need to switch from the Fusion build to the Generic build, for all A series processors...
I think that switch came around Beta 4 or 5

Can you share the reason with us? I'm testing the actual OpenElec Fusion build with a A3500 and I don't have severe problems.
Only issue is that live PVR streaming with hd channels will produce artifacts, I've tried to increase the UMA for the APU and I'm testing at this moment.
