Mapping arcade controls (keyboard.xml ?) - cadeon - 2012-10-29 So I recently upgraded my Xbox-Based XBMC Arcade Cabinet to a shiny Intel i5 box running Linux. I'm calling it "Arcade-HD" Everything's gone swimmingly so far. There's so much more XBMC-without-an-xbox can do! One problem... Can't figure out how to make my arcade controls work well for getting around XBMC. I assumed someone else would have done this by now, but I can't find anything to that end. My controls are this: http://www.xgaming.com/support/questions/17/PC+%26+MAC+%28Mode1%29+Button+Layout So far, all I can figure out on my own, is that I'll have to build my own keyboard.xml. I can do that and will start on it soon, but I'd love to know if there's a better way, or if there's a prebuilt one, or if there are any gotchyas I should know about... such as building it such that the standard keyboard controls will still work too (I have a normal keyboard plugged in to, but it's hidden). Thanks! |
