What might be the reason for this, that Raspbmc has this problem but Openelec or Xbian doesn't (?). Which packages differ between Raspbmc and Openelec/Xbian?

OpenElec contains pycrypto, but I think Raspbmc is without it.

sudo apt-get install py-crypto
or
sudo apt-get install python-crypto

Are you outside of finland or using proxy and areena believes you are outside of finland?
Go to plugins settings an hide shows/movies which are only playable in finland or don't use proxy.

Hello there!
I have the same problem on openSUSE 12.3. I cannot watch any program that's not available internationally (I'm in Helsinki, Finnish IP).

By the way, thank you for this amazing plugin!

Hi
Yle Areena: "Open plugins settings and press ok. You don't have to change anything."
or is it python-crypto again?
Riemurasia: Site changed, it needs login now.

RE: [RELEASE] Finnish TV: YleAreena and Ruutu (Video) plugins - pumo - 2013-10-19

Thanks, areena works with going to settings and ok.
Where do I put account for riemurasia? There isnt any settings for it.

I don't use Riemurasia plugin, but login isn't supported.
I don't know when site changed, maybe Szymex add it to next version?

Isn´t it possible to pause, ff or rewind ruutu.fi -videos without problems? Sound goes very badly out of sync, and video starts to stutter. Running on Openelec with two Atom - Ion PC´s, and both have same problem.

Areena works just fine.

Hmm, how do I enable subtitles in the Yle Areena add-on? Can't figure it out! Using OpenELEC on Raspberry Pi.

Same way as normally when watching videos. Press subtitle -button on your remote, or go to on screen menu when playing video --> sound and select subtitle.

For some reason on my other Openelec -PC Areena´s subtitles only work after reboot. If resuming from suspend, they don´t work.

Sorry if I'm stupid, or maybe I am missing something, but I can only locate separately downloaded subtitles that way. Should the Areena's subtitles be automatically selectable when streaming a video, or do I need to get them from *somewhere* by hand..?
