I asked from YLE developer, that my api keys are ok. Developer tried my keys and they should be ok,
I made credentials.py script edition with nano in OE, so CR/LF should not be the case.
How I could proceed with this? If someone could try my api keys etc.? I could send them privately or something (?).
I can give it a go if you send the keys.
Couldn't they just generate a new set for you? And I really do not understand why they do not work with Kodi. Is there any other way to test the keys?

hmm, raspberry pi 2, kodi 17.0 -alpha1 git:1b71303 and i can get the plugin working without any text on the "folders", and cannot view any videos. when starting a video, nothing happens, not a prompt or anything.

Please provide full debug logs. It would be nice if you could create a new issue to https://github.com/hirsivaja/plugin.video.areena/issues. Also I will probably notice issues posted in GitHub faster than those only posted in this thread.

Which decryption library did you try? The PyCrypto or PyAES included in the plugin? I can also take a look at the keys if you (savis) PM those...

I use Openelec 6.0.3 with RPi 2 and i am not 100% sure, is PyCrypto version 2.6 or 2.6.1.

Can anyone get the plugin to show plot info belonging to any of the videos?
I've tried at least four different skins and fiddled around the Kodi and plugin settings, but cant seem to get any "plot" info to shoiw up on the UI. Is there any videos that anyone can get to show their plot info on any field in Kodi. I've tried lot of skins with different version of OE 6 to 7Alpha and videos from many categories like Poirot, Vera Stanhope tutkii, Smack the pony and Pasila.
(this and the sorting improvement idea submitted also to Github)

Same problem here. It would be nice at least see what episode of the series it is. For example Strömsö I don't see any info about episode (when aired and so on). Only expiration time is visible. I'm using ReFocus- skin.

I tried your keys with the Yle instructions on their web page http://developer.yle.fi/tutorial-playing-a-program/ It would not decrypt the url. So the problem is not with the addon, it is either wrong app id and key or wrong decryption key. Please ask the guys from Yle if they can indeed decrypt the url successfully with their own instructions or not.

I fixed the issue with the plot. Please try the newest version of the plugin to verify. The sorting needs a bit more work to do so it will take longer to implement...

Unfortunately that particular series is SecureHD protected and is not accessible through the Yle API. You need to use some other client to watch that series.

]From the API documentation: 22-2 (DRM protected) and 22-3 (SecureHD) are not available through the API.
