Is it possible to get live stream of YLE channels via API? Where i can find Urheiluruutu and Uutiset links, somehow i didn't find them under categories (?).

I tried to find a way to get the livestreams, but it seems that the current documentation does not reveal how to get the urls for livestreams. I asked about this from yle by email, and suprisingly I got an answer saying it is not possible at the moment. But what comes to News and sports, it is in the documentation that these categories are not available through this public API. Don't know why, but so it says on the Yle API site.
Edit: got an answer from yle about the livestreams not being available through the API at the moment.

You can get the IDs of the livestreams through the old version of the site. I don't know how long those urls will work, but at the moment they are ok.

The ID is in slightly different format. You need to append 1- in front of those for it to work with the new API.

Has anyone tested that new LibreELEC? Does the Areena addon work with it? Can you set the Maximum resolution to Automatic and still be able to play all the programs?

I think LibreELEC is now almost completely same than OpenELEC. In the future they may go to separate directions.

Yes, they are still quite similar. But LibreELEC has released version 7 when OpenELEC is still on version 6.0.3. Between those two there are lots of differences. I know that OpeneELEC community released OpenELEC 7.0 beta so if somebody has used that they can also comment...

OpenELEC still has Kodi 16.1 RC but LibreELEC already updated to 16.1 Final.

Do any of these Finnish video addons currently work? I installed this morning the plugins from https://github.com/szymex/xbmc-finnish-tv and none of them really worked. Areena plugin was able to list some videos but that was all - none of them could play live content. What is the current situation and are there some other functioning plugins somewhere else?
I'm running Kodi on OS X El Capitan and I can provide logs later today if someone wishes to have a look at them.

Have you created Yle account in the yle site and requested API-keys for usage? And have you put the keys to the plugins settings page?
The original unofficial Szymex plugin does not work anymore. The currently working is Hemmus original plugin that Hirsivaja has improved greatly and is based on official YleAPI. No live, news or sport with it unfortunately.
