Ruutu has started to use drm protection in lots of the videos so I wouldn't count on getting a functional Kodi addon anymore. The good news is that there's finally a decent Android TV app for Ruutu so you can use that on devices like the Nvidia Shield.

Should this work with Odroid C2 and LibreElec? It seems that video starts playing, but video is not showing. No black screen, just staying in the menu.

With Raybuntu's LibreElec -build on C2 Areena works again.
Official LE for C2 is fully 64bit, maybe that causes some problem?

Got Chromecast, but only forced to use it because of closed nature of Katsomo and Ruutu. I sincerely hope CRM will be banned some beautiful day.

I've switched to dash streams in kodi, and since then Areena is not working anymore.
Is it possible to support dash streams?

I agree on both accounts!
I was trying to look at the Rocket launch carrying Aalto-2 satellite with it. But I was unable, since the plugin can not list any other live streams on Areena, besides TV channels.

Also, browsing and searching YLE Areena seems to be quite broken / useless currently.
Some examples, try to search these streams trough the plugin UI:

The problem is that search seems to return mostly irrelevant, up to the point even seemingly random entries (even YLE Areena web pages search mostly sucks, but it is not nearly as bad as the plugin's search). If I manage to browse to, say YLE Aamu-TVs entries in the plugin, only one page of options is listed, and they are not the same ones which the web page would display.
Also seems that the categories are not up to date.
