Can't donate without... - Pyromaniac - 2012-12-24
...creating an Paypal Account. Exactly 1 year ago I've made a donation with my Credit-Card. Today I've tried the same, but this time I have to create an Paypal Account.

At the bottom you can see that they want a password from me for creating my paypal account...
I don't want to create an PayPal account.
Is there another way to donate?

This isn't working, because I can't get to the point the tutorial continues in 0:57
maybe this tutorial isn't up to date anymore, or paypal is behaving different here in germany...

Workin here without paypal account. (I´m from Germany too)
After clickin on "Donate now" you can see a button labelled "Don´t have a paypal account?"
that´s the way to go.

Try this for yourself please. Go to the Form "Don't have a paypal account?" and choose "Germany" as your country, because as long as it is "united states" there is no need to "create a paypal password", but in Germany it seems to be necessary.
If you still say it doesn't look like in the first picture I've posted (you don't have to create a password), then please post a screenshot how it looks in your case.

Today I've tried it like this: I've blocked "paypalobjects.com" with my scriptblocker, and for now, I don't have to type in any passwords, it looks like this:

I know a lot about a lot of things, and I still can't figure out how any actual financial value is derived from a Bitcoin. If you want to have a good laugh and get really confused, lookup Bitcoin Mining lol.

I have been donating to xbmc project for a lot of years and I also support the option to donate with Bitcoin, I imagine it may have looked like a joke years ago but if you reason about it and understand the system, it could be a very good way to finance to project in addition to existing options.

Bitcoin has actually been brought up internally to me as well. I'm not really opposed to the idea, but I do have a few other things on my plate at the moment.
