With Matrix and v3.02 it is working but Rasp3 has no Libreelec Kodi19 Support until now

@dr_torch have you decided not to work on this add-on anymore? If so that's a shame.
For anyone who is interested though the Catch-up TV & More add-on has now fixed the issue with incomplete show listings and added subtitles. This has most of the ITV shows, and in HD. I'm not sure if the fix is reflected in the Kodi repository but it certainly works in their beta repository.

I'm not sure what else I can offer here unfortunately. I'm limited by what streams ITV offers on youview and mobile streams and I have no knowledge of encrypted streams.
Have you had any luck on your end getting better quality?

Hi - just found your threads on this ITV issue. Thank's for getting this addon working again - brilliant. I have version 3.02 with Kodi19 Matrix. Just one question - I can get Catchup perfectly in HD, but I cannot get any Live progs. Is this normal or am I missing something - it's just that the description says that the addon enables the playing of Live & Catch up TV. Just a thought.

Just a thought.Yeah the description is wrong, it was probably carried over from the previous version. Catchup works but there is no Live TV.

Personally I don’t use this add-on anymore because because I spoke to the dev at Catch-Up TV & More and he fixed the issue with incomplete STV shows and added subtitles so that basically gives everything this add-on does. STV also streams their catch-up in HD so I've no idea why ITV don't.
STV content is quite different to ITV content though. It would be best to view it as a different tv network (which it is) than a regional variant of the ITV network, which it no longer is.
You'll see it has a lot of foreign drama content, including Australian content that ITV does not show. (Straits, East West 101 etc) as well as Sports coverage (FreeSports and EdgeSports) and Music (Quello)
conversely, it does not show certain ITV shows, see Celebrity Juice or other programmes on ITV2 and/or ITV Be
While STV being available on Catchup and More in a way solves one problem for users,(Corrie, Emmerdale) it creates others too.
MY5 and Channel4 addons would be most welcome too. Particularly when you see what the services offer.
the issue comes down to someone with the required skills having the time and desire to code up the addon.

What is it I am missing?
An addon access itv catch up itself. (all 6 channels.) Although, I no longer use Kodi to access catch up services since addons for bbc/itv became incredibly unreliable due to devs either not keeping up with changes in kodi (mostly dodgy little feckers on sites that are now both banned and no longer maintained.) or the catch up service made a change beyond kodi's purview, (no drm streams would be supported, a caveat that has now be rescinded.)
i use a firestck and access bbc/itv/channel4/channel5 through that. I use kodi on a nuc for local content. But it would be great to see addons developed for what are essentially the largest free VOD services in the UK. Channel4 alone is massive, it's just a shame no dev seems to be bothered
