I second that. I'm in no rush and would rather wait for the port 443 update fully integrated with the other ITV channels.

Happy Easter Big Grin

Hi,

I have been using this great plugin for a long time without issue on OpenElec xbmc. I just upgraded to version 3,which is the latest frodo and now the plugin doesnt work Sad
I have updated to the latest version but i get the message ERROR script failed when i click on ITV PLAYER. ITV1 works but ITV4 does nothing.
I have made a debug log via xbmclogs but frankly its huge!

Is there a part of it you need or should I paste the whole thing here?

Restart xbmc go to recreate the error then paste your log please

Also explain the steps you went through to get the error

Thanks

I open ITV Player within xbmc openelec and in its menu clicked ITV PLAYER. I get a script error with itv player.

The log is very long and i tried posting it but it was too long for the forum to except.

Here is a link to it:- http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=10071

@ tsddave
This is the same error i get although in windows and atv2. but i am outside UK and using unblock service to watch ITV. If you are outside UK and using VPN, you should note that some VPN stopped working on Xbmc because ITV asked for zip code. This is true at least in my case.

RE: [RELEASE] ITV Player 1.10 - tsddave - 2013-04-07

I can play the ITV player app on my iphone with no issues, i simply give a uk postcode (zipcode is for USA not UK) and im good to go. They dont check your location...just ask for a postcode. Its not exactly hard to find a random UK postcode online to use. The app was working fine for me under OpenElec version 2.0, it just failed once i updated to version 3.0 for some reason. I can however watch the Itv1 via the app. Thing is all i want really is the ITV player service to watch tv episodes.

Shameless bump! Really want to use this addon again!

RE: [RELEASE] ITV Player 1.10 - Animal - 2013-04-15

My ITV Player on both my ATV2 and RPi started to give me a script error over the weekend.

Has anyone else had any problems or is it just me Smile

The wife was trying to play Coronataion street (which I'm quite happy it didn't work Wink )

I'm inclined to think it isn't the add-on as the expat-tv and BBC Iplayer both stopped working to.

Just intrigued as to why they all stopped at the same time.

I'll upload a log file later on though - thanks.

Good news - they do !

It'll need a new menu option in the settings, but that isn't difficult. I'll have a go at this sometime in the next few days, but Mikey1234 is still working on adding ITV2 and ITV3 live streams. It would be better to include the port 443 workaround with the full update.

Any news on the new version with this update included?

This may help quite some expat users where the normal 1935 port is blocked by the vpn.

I went back at lunch (I'm in Canada so behind you guys Smile ) to upload a log file but it worked fine Huh

No idea why as I haven't changed anything and it wasn't working this morning before I left for work.

Thanks for the quick response Mikey though.
