XBMC DTS - delions - 2013-01-25 Hello, I have the following problem. I have installed the latest version of Ubuntu and XBMC 12.10 on a pc with a Nvidia Geforce 610 HDMI videocard. I connected my pc with a HDMI cable to my TV and my TV is connected with an optical cable to my surround system. Now when I play movies with DTS I get no sound at all, but when I play movies with 5.1 sound I don't have any problem. In Ubuntu I removed Pulse Audio and installed ALSA. What can I do to get DTS sound out of my surround system. Kind regards, delions RE: XBMC DTS - wsnipex - 2013-01-25 connect the PC's optical out directly to the AVR. Your TV probably doesn't support passthrough of DTS. |
