Proposal: Make xbmc.log accessible from the web server - Ned Scott - 2013-01-27
Make the debug log (wiki) accessible from the web server as an option. It shouldn't be available by default since it can contain network share passwords. That same reason is also why someone might want easy access to the log file rather than using the debug log uploader add-on, so that they can remove those passwords before posting the log to the internet.
As we get more and more devices that don't have typical file managers (iOS, Android, etc), something like this could be really nice for troubleshooting.

I think we'd want a user/pass stripper run on it before we allowed that - that would make it more useful at that point (also the debug log uploader could use that). I don't have a problem with it otherwise.
