Audio - paulo.ponde - 2013-01-30 Hi, In the past I spent a lot of lime trying to make XBMC Eden 11.0 + DH-Audio for Windows to work with my Onkyo receiver, when finally I dicovered XBMC Realtek ATI HDMI 270 drivers ( http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#High%20Definition%20Audio%20Codecs). Windows boots very slowly and recently I tried to install Openelec Generic i386 Version:2.99.2 (3.0 RC 2) but the problems with DTS-MA, Dolby True-HD and Dolby Digital Plus were back again and I don't know how to install Realktek drivers for Linux. So I tried to upgrade from Eden to Frodo and surprise! The audio problems are back again! Now I'm confused. I'm having problems with XBMC, drivers or both? I have a desktop with a ECS A790GXM-A motherboard, XFX Radeon 6670 and Phenon 9950 processor. Suggestions please! RE: Audio - Ned Scott - 2013-01-30 AMD GPUs don't support HD audio in linux because AMD is a stupid company that does stupid things. |
