1. git URL is a mistery to me. Do I just change https: into git: and that's it?

2. what is this misterious revision number Y'all talk about? commit number? or the number I see in GitHub app locally? Huh

So, here it is, basically for me it's the submission way. Freaks me out. Confused How about a little less professional way? Big Grin

1. Indeed the url to your github where the skin is located.
2. The commit version number you see on the github commits list. This is to make sure we pick the right version. Could be that added new changes after you send the request and the new changes shouldn't be added just yet in this version.

Thanks. I just gave it a try.

I sent the emails, they bounce back saying : "unprocessed" [My email body] "done"

I don't get this submission method, I'm too dumb to make it happen and replies are too cryptic...

Is there a good_soul that wants to submit my skin for me?

i think the problem is you didn't register your e-mail address to the list
https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/xbmc-addons
you should get a notification you are added.

I too find the mailing list not the way to go and we are looking for a better way.
Maybe just drop the mailing list and have a general accessible e-mail without needing to register. Problem that comes with it that it might receives tons of junk mail or users starting to spam it with questions.

good call, i sent it via desktop client and it uses a different address that the one i register with! Rolleyes

let's try one more time.

How about something like dropbox? Jotform? like once you're an approved developer you can get access to a shared repofolder and just drop it like it's hot... drop it like it's hot.. drop it like it's hot... sorry, couldn't help myself.

but that might not be the right solution either.
