New movies not showing up in the latest folder - robert1901 - 2013-03-19
For 2 weeks now some of my new movies wont show up in the latest folder or the latest widget on the main menu screen
But the movies are added to the database and in my all movies section.
So why are they not showing up as new anymore
can someone please help

so do i just have to create in notepad a file with this written in
<advancedsettings>
<videolibrary>
<dateadded>0</dateadded>
</videolibrary>
</advancedsettings>
then save and exit and change it to .xml
is that how I create the xml file??

Yes, just make sure that the extension is really .xml and isn't .xml.txt.

got it cheers that's worked but XBMC randomly shut down on me it said the program is not responding when I was browsing my movies
I went back in and it seems to be OK now hopfully it wont happen again im on the new 12.1
