RE: after update no more auto login to xbmc - zlaboncz - 2013-05-16 Hi, I have the same issue, that the XBMC does not start, just showing the desktop login. When I'm entering the correct password, the screen goes black for a few seconds, after I get back the login windows again. I did not make upgrade, just simply logged out from the XBMC. I tried to restart the machine, but it logs back to the login window I tried the "sudo restart lightdm", it restarts, but the login windows comes back The password is correct, because entering a wrong password displays error message I think it is not a driver or software problem, because there were no changes in the system, just a log out, and after a minute I could not start it. Any idea? Thanks, Z. The setting may have changed during the ubuntu upgrade process. dpkg-reconfigure x11-common |
