XBMC hangs after shutdown - Galious77 - 2013-05-10
When I shutdown XBMC using the exit menu, the software hangs. Using Ctrl+Alt+Del and then killing the task is far more stable, in my case. When the software hangs, a window from Microsoft Virtual C pops up, but I can't read it, as XBMC itself is in front of it. Any suggestions? This issue has been there since 12.2 and persists in the newest nightly build (10 May).

Could be an add-on that is taking too long to close. Check out the debug log (wiki) and see what it says.

Thank you! The log file said that an add-on called Watchdog didn't close within 5 seconds. Deactivating it solved the issue.
