For other platforms ProjectM is now at release 2 also.

RE: Milkdrop 2 for XBMC - ashlar - 2013-09-03

ProjectM is compatible with Milkdrop 2 presets, would it be easier? I see they have XBMC on their homepage. I use Windows, maybe it's already implemented for other versions?

RE: Milkdrop 2 for XBMC - Hedda - 2013-09-10

Yes the very latest ProjectM 2.x code from http://projectm.sourceforge.net should build for both OpenGL 1.x and OpenGL ES 2.0 on all platforms so a port should work

projectM latest code with OpenGL ES 2.0 support should even add the possibility of iOS and Android support too, as well as Linux and Mac OS X

I am sure that just as many Apple TV 2 and Pivos Android users as well as Raspberry Pi users would appreciate projectM visualizer on their platforms

There are already other existing feature request for this too, like http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=171519

Please devs! +1

Go for it! Support on rPI would be awsome!

Cheers Nordish

https://github.com/cptspiff/visualization.projectm uses 2.0. i haven't tested fancy presets but it's 2.0

Milkdrop 2 for XBMC - huzz456 - 2013-09-11

Hey spiff is that something we can replace the current visualisation with? Where do we need to put it to get it to work?

RE: Milkdrop 2 for XBMC - spiff - 2013-09-11

disclaimer: you know what to do with the git or you don't.

Milkdrop 2 for XBMC - huzz456 - 2013-09-11

Ah you big meany! Smile no worries I know how to download it just not sure where the visualisation stuff goes but I'm sure I can find it

RE: Milkdrop 2 for XBMC - Martijn - 2013-09-11

Great work! Please note that upstream have released ProjectM version 2.1 now as well

http://projectm.sourceforge.net

ProjectM 2.1.0 was actually released over a year ago now

http://sourceforge.net/projects/projectm/files/

Thank you very much for looking at it! Hoping to see a OpenGL ES version for XBMC soon too

RE: Milkdrop 2 for XBMC - wsnipex - 2013-09-15

linux builds are here: https://launchpad.net/~wsnipex/+archive/xbmc-addons-unstable

note that you will get an error that the package tries to overwrite stuff in the xbmc package, so you must force install it for now.

RE: Milkdrop 2 for XBMC - purpulhaze - 2013-09-21

Can someone please help. I tried disabling it and now it still plays screensaver trailers. I have since uninstalled it from the add on itself and it's still playing screen saver trailers. Looked in the user data folder but couldn't find anything. How do I get it to stop?

RE: Milkdrop 2 for XBMC - ktjensen - 2013-09-30

did this ever get tested on the OUYA platform? even if it is buggy would be nice to see further development.

not sure i remember how to install these on my OUYA.
