Yes, it is.

I did that and it unfortunately is still missing.

Feature Request:

I would love to have a separate process that I can kick off with a scheduler that is not part of XBMC or the Plugin that creates/refreshes the channel list. I have background loading on, but still when I start the app I occasionally have to wait quite a while for my channel to be loaded. This feature would make it so that any time I start PTL on any of my systems, it doesn't have to bother with refreshing channels, just start up.

I realize that depending on how much PTL uses the XBMC libraries for scanning, especially with other plugins, that this may not be possible, or if it is possible it may be a lot of work. I just want some feedback. I have a server that doesn't run XBMC, but serves all the files, and the PTL settings and cache.

Andrew

The same way the artwork spooler works?

This feature was already added but is experimental, I haven't had the time to work out the bugs... It's called "Settop Box" mode

Not sure, you cleared both xbmcs and ptvls cache... so it should be good...
go into your userdata/addon_data/script.pseudotv.live/cache/logos folder and make the channel logo is removed.

I don't have a userdata/addon_data/script.pseudotv.live/cache/logos folder...

Code:

Edit: I got it working! I had to delete Textures.db, but it now works! I'm not sure if it's recommended to do that, but it worked for me.

@ Lunatixz

Hey is it possible to manually set a different video limit for an individual channel? For instance I have my global limit set to 250 (performance seems to take a huge hit when I go beyond 250 per playlist) but I have a channel I use for my BCT's that is a mix of about 10 other channels interleaved. It works really well but I'd like to be able to set that channel to be unlimited (since the vast majority of videos on it are between 30-60 seconds) Is such a thing possible in PTVL?

There is no individual channel limits, except for certain new chtypes. I will disable limits for custom playlist, so you can set it through the individual playlist options.

That's awesome man, it'll solve my problem and I appreciate it for real.

And new channel types you say?? Is it possible that one of the new channel types might be mp3 based music channels? Hey a guy can hope right. Lol

Seriously though, thanks as always for the help.

Not sure there is much you can test... it's too buggy to use... I have to track down the crashes and fix them... Thanks tho.

Maybe test out My music tv?

sure, i'll give that a go and report back. one other issue to track down. seems like xbmc can't kil the ptvl service while trying to exit and it hangs. i'll send you logs over the next few days.

I can test the My Music tv as well...I can run out on a pi and see how well it works

RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - IndolentShirker - 2014-08-13

Hey, quick question.

Is there any way to increase the size of the network logo on-screen while leaving it unchanged in the Episode Guide and whatnot?
If so what do I need to tweak where?

Thanks in advance for any help.

it's in development build as a autotune or manual add... requires a my music tv channel already created and played at least once... and it needs to be named "Channel_#" #= Channel number.

Just wanted to confirm that the feature allowing me to set recordings through a tv tuner backend is not live yet. I'd love to have my custom channels (all Seinfeld episodes, for example) alongside my regular TV channels (from which I can record) at some point in the future!
