Issue with files contain TrueHD track - mike7 - 2013-08-19
I have several Blu-ray remuxes with TrueHD track, I know, TrueHD is not supported, so I also have ac3 tracks, one of which is default and selected for play.
Playback is choppy, other files (without TrueHD track) with higher bitrate play fine.
omxplayer info shows cache - 0 B, but percentage at the beginning is also 0%, at the moment of the issue (without any buffering message on the screen) percentage grows up 95-98%, then playing continues, but percentage going down and playing stops after reaching 0%. CPU utilization is higher than with files with DTS-MA tracks.
Tried with mkv and m2ts.
Tested with different versions of raspbmc & openelec, also with standalone omxplayer, the same behavior.
Streaming with nfs.
RPi is overclocked:
arm_freq=1050
core_freq=500
sdram_freq=550
over_voltage=6
