Revert to XBMC 11.0 Confluence skin - xbmcfan101 - 2013-09-02
Hello all,
When one sees the wikipedia page for XBMC, they are greeted with a picture of the XBMC 11.0 Home Screen which I understand is the older version of the confluence skin.
I am currently running XBMC 12.2 "Frodo." Is there a skin repository that contains the older version of the Confluence skin with the red movie theater seats? I absolutely love the aesthetics of that old skin.

There are a number of confluence mods which bring back some of the features of confluence 11.0, check out the skins section of these forums

I appreciate such a quick response!
I've been looking through the forums, but haven't had much luck. There appear to be some discussions related to confluence skin modding. However they appear to focus on more technical aspects of the skin, not simply the appearance like I am asking about.
This was the closest one I found to my question:
I tried installing the zip file for the repository on my mac osx 10.8, but xbmc wouldn't up freezing.
Does anyone specifically know of any confluence mods for XBMC 12.2 that mimic the old the confluence 11.0 skin?
Otherwise is there a way for me to simply install the old confluence skin designed for XBMC 11.0 that I can run on XBMC 12.2?

There's a few in there. Also have you looked in the xbmc official repo for skins? Via System > Addons

There's a way to get that old theme back.

Wow! Thanks so much for the reply! Finally a nice, helpful person on the XBMC forum lol
I'll take a look at it. I love that movie theater background with the plush looking red seats! It's so nice and elegant looking.
