The skin calls it automatically. You will need an old version of it though, as that is the only one that currently works with MQ5.

Hi,
I tested the add-on linked but it's not working, or at least I don't know how to make it work
So, I installed a fresh KODIBUNTU version.
Then I installed the MQ5 using the instructions found here: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=197019&pid=1883579#pid1883579
Then I installed the extendedinfo script from the above link.
But when I enter in the MOVIE/INFO screen how do I see the extended info? What button shall I have to press?
What should I see?
Is there anything I have to do to enable it in the INFO screen?

Its used for movie sets. It gives the sets metadata.
Without the script items like plot, year, director etc will be blank for sets.

@elite1967, script suggest bu Samu-rai is only for gotham and official skin Aeon MQ5, don´t use in Kodi helix.
For Helix, when use moded version, you need other script for work movie sets:

Sets only.
Info and images for single movies is get by scrapers.

ok, maybe there is a misunderstanding.
I wanted to install the extendedinfo script that shows detailed information about the actors, filmography, studios, etc. (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=160558).
From what I understood the MQ5 skin is compatible with the above script, but I haven't been able to use it.
I am using MQ5 on helix with the mod.

Hi, I have a favourite called Stand Up that points to a Stand Up directory. Each show is in it's own sub-directory with poster and fanart jpgs. I have displayed this favourite on my main menu. When I go into this menu item it's using the Shelf view.
The posters are showing up fine, but is there a way for me to display the fanart behind each show as I cycle through as at the moment it shows nothing?

hey guys. all of sudden, recently added widgets only shows 8 widgets even tho i got it set for 12. it works fine for random & in progress, which i don't use. anyone else experiencing this? is there a fix? thanks for any help.

I recently switched to Aeon MQ 5 and like it a lot. One thing, which I believe is due to me not knowing enough about this skin; when I go to live-EPG or press 'E' a 'smart shortcuts' + 'View Options/Change view' + 'TV channels' + 'Radio channels'' menu appears on the top. How do I disable this feature?
It is probably straight forward but I have tried for a while now, thanks.

Ok, I give up... I have this installed and working, but I can not for the life of me change the tv or movie folder views. ((banner art, poster, wall and so on). I get to press up when in the movies category, and I know I press left or right to change views, but it does noting.If I press left, ot makes the left arrow blink, if I press right, the right arrow blinks. But the view remains on "wide".
Never mind... It just suddenly started working after a while. lol

I know this has been mentioned before, and I'm sure I saw a fix for it but can't for the life of me find it (can't remember if it was an actual mod or just a setting).
I have MQ5 running Gotham on OpenElec on an Intel NUC. 2gb RAM and SSD. MySQL for my databases which are on my Synology NAS.
Navigating through all the menus using this skin is fast and i'm very happy, except there is one point where the GUI lags - opening the library items from the home menu ("Movies" / "TV Shows"). you click one of these, for example "Movies" and it hangs a few seconds showing just the Movies background before displaying the list of content.
Not sure if this is just normal behaviour for the setup I have or if there is indeed a fix as I thought I saw recently. I wasn't sure whether to post this in MQ5 forum or somewhere else as I don't know if it is a skin issue.
Can someone advise?
