RE: RaspBMC Kodi/XBMC test builds - Memphiz - 2014-08-06 its not the final fix btw - i am in contact with upstream... RE: RaspBMC Kodi/XBMC test builds - crazyazz - 2014-08-06 Great work on these builds, appreciate the hard word. I have an issue with not being able to shutdown the PI, it just reboots. Been like it for the last few builds. Any fix? RE: RaspBMC Kodi/XBMC test builds - Gregoire - 2014-08-07 (2014-08-06, 10:57)crazyazz Wrote: Great work on these builds, appreciate the hard word. RE: RaspBMC Kodi/XBMC test builds - ElectricPim - 2014-08-11 I reported the shutdown/reboot/XBMC restart issue at the 07/08 version. Miappa confirmed. The last version I had that didn't show the problem was the 06/01 build. but I skipped a few versions in between. Annoying, but my workaround is using ssh: sudo poweroff. I can still ssh into the pi and if I restart xbmc it comes back to life. Nothing useful in the logs. SD card nearly full? RE: RaspBMC Kodi/XBMC test builds - kl1k - 2014-08-13 (2014-08-13, 11:28)ElectricPim Wrote: Power saving accidentally enabled? Now that you have mentioned that - I checked again this morning. Screen blank. I didnt think to do this before but pressed a button on the remote and the screen came back on. Its like the setting "put display to sleep when idle" is on. This setting seems to be missing from raspbmc though. Ive checked the screen saver and its not set to a complete dim. This actually happens as soon as I power off the TV - powering on again and the screen in "sleeping" RE: RaspBMC Kodi/XBMC test builds - ElectricPim - 2014-08-14 (2014-08-13, 13:07)kl1k Wrote: This actually happens as soon as I power off the TV - powering on again and the screen in "sleeping"Be glad, save some energy. Sounds like a CEC setting. Settings -> input devices -> peripherals -> CEC adapter. Otherwise I would have run out of tips. Last one left: Wake up at 3.21 AM a couple of nights to see what's going on. RE: RaspBMC Kodi/XBMC test builds - kl1k - 2014-08-14 Thanks. Found a setting "when tv is switched off" - was set to suspend. Changed to ignore and its fixed the problem. RE: RaspBMC Kodi/XBMC test builds - miappa - 2014-08-17 Updated Helix build, Kodi/XBMC master from Aug 15 + newclock3 commits. Kodi/XBMC Master: • Master changelog Newclock3: • [AirTunes] Don't leave audio_flush uninitialised • Revert "[stdstring] get rid of CStdString in network/" (possible fix for Airtunes problem since above commit) • [skin confluence] Remove media-overlay.jpg for when video is backgrounded • [ffmpeg demuxer] allow a stream change if pat/pmt was not seen on open GPU firmware from Aug 12 included: A lot of commits, see: https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/commit/a6fe2977ae7292adae1816bd13a828c71b74bc17 https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/commit/df36e8dd56f042603f1ad4d26921b56009415165 https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/commit/43c5b2fc9bdb0a43ba67661b8677445e71ae9e82 To install Kodi/XBMC build, SSH to Pi: Code: wget -O kodi-14-20140817-nc3.tar.gz http://goo.gl/TcjkFh --no-check-certificate See post #1 for more info (testing, different players etc) RE: RaspBMC Kodi/XBMC test builds - RedPenguin - 2014-08-17 (2014-08-17, 14:57)miappa Wrote: Updated Helix build, Kodi/XBMC master from Aug 15 + newclock3 commits. miappa I just wanted to say thank you so very very much for these builds. I noticed the nightlies only go around April on the RaspBMC menu. It's so nice to be able to test "bleeding-edge" as I noticed with the RasPi, it seems newer releases fix many quirks that you just don't always see on other platforms. RE: RaspBMC Kodi/XBMC test builds - miappa - 2014-08-17 @RedPenguin No problem @popcornmix getting the following error when trying to compile newcock4: Code: CPP xbmc/cores/VideoRenderers/OverlayRendererGL.o RE: RaspBMC Kodi/XBMC test builds - popcornmix - 2014-08-17 (2014-08-17, 20:17)miappa Wrote: OMXRenderer.cpp:753:19: error: 'MMAL_DISPLAY_MODE_STEREO_TOP_TO_TOP' was not declared in this scope Need to update header files in /opt/vc/include (e.g. by updating userland repo, or running rpi-update). RE: RaspBMC Kodi/XBMC test builds - miappa - 2014-08-17 Ah, thanks. Will post a nc4 build tomorrow. |
