I suggested having the option to pick in wich folder to save the stream... so the trick is to whenever you want to save in one folder for movies or series you just change it on the only one and primary directory folder then save the stream eheheh, i change the directory from one folder or another on settings to save stream of movies or series in the folder i want and thats it. Smile

But still having problems with srt, it doesn´t read srt, not something.srt or in my language something.pt.srt. it just doesn´t work, i tried on media player classic and the extension srt with my language worked and i have on settings captions and subtitles enabled.

thanks for the help again

Is the media file and srt named the same? Are there brackets in the name?

RE: [RELEASE] gdrive - Google Drive Video/Music Add-on - Norin_Radd - 2015-06-05

One file as brackets the others dont have and all of them have the same name of file of movie and srt.

Some i added the .pt.srt others are just .srt but all of them are on the folder of the correspondent file and with the same name.

will work:

won't work:
movie.file.something.mp4
movie.file.fr.srt

won't work:
movie.file.something.mp4

movie.file.srt

RE: [RELEASE] gdrive - Google Drive Video/Music Add-on - Norin_Radd - 2015-06-05

Sorry, i changed the name of one of a named correct file, removed spaces and hifen, changed to . and the same on the srt file.

it is:
movie.title.something.something.mkv
movie.title.something.something.pt.srt

and still doesn´t load the subtitles

i have played the file inside the addon and doesn´t work, in the folder it just shows the mkv file not the srt.

just for you to know when i play the file on the browser in google drive it still doesn´t read the subtitles, maybe it has nothing to do with it but thought you should know.

thanks for the reply.

The subtitles won't appear as a file in the plugin, but if they are present somewhere in your drive, they will load, if you allow them to load (if they are not disabled in settings).

I always prefer going into the google drive and loading a SRT directly into the video as a caption track. This way the captions will load even when playing from the website..

This is such an awesome plugin, THANK YOU. Now I can play my daughter's favorite cartoon that isn't available easily online.

Is there a fix coming for the "Opening stream" window that doesn't go away?

thanks again
N

In settings, under Advance, there should be a checkbox for Integrated player. That will disable the opening disalog.

You're the man! Any way to "PLAY ALL" in a folder?

From in the folder, if you select the first item, right-click, there should be a "play from here..." It uses KODI's built in "keep playing until you are out of videos in the folder" logic.

I have an itch to allow users to right-click on a folder and "play all", "play next" (as in play next unwatched video), "play all loop" (play all forever).

Once inputted, the next time you start the plugin it will try to activate the code and redeem an authorization token and refresh token. The refresh token is good indefinitely until revoked or unused for 6 months. Only your local install has a copy of the refresh token.

Are you trying to reuse on multiple machines, because the next time you start the app, it should use the refresh token and not try to redeem for another code.

Yes I try to reuse it on multiples machines, how I can obtain multiples codes or use a single Google Drive account on multiples machines?

Easiest way is to copy the activated settings.xml file (where the code was redeemed for a token) from xbmc/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.gdrive-testing/ between the different instances.

Is this still the best way to solve one account on multiple machines? Also, where can I get to this xml file from TeamViewer? I cannot find the xmbc folder...

thanks!

(2015-05-02, 03:47)dmdsoftware Wrote: New release 0.6.14:
http://dmdsoftware.net/repository.ddurdle-testing/plugin.video.gdrive-testing-0.6.14.zip

Very early testing of some media tracking. Media content will be (optionally) tracked in a spreadsheet. The only part available for public testing is resume. This is very early testing. Some of the more advanced media features, like scheduled and kiosk mode are not public accessible.

First off, you need a read/write OAUTH2 token. You can use the below (this is for Google Apps login type only):

https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/auth?scope=https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive+https://spreadsheets.google.com/feeds&access_type=offline&redirect_uri=https://script.google.com/macros/s/AKfycbzufq8WB4As_ksn28mFbfbX-WX5M75-JjB_AR_fejqXV49-TUvj/exec&response_type=code&client_id=772521706521-f97kus79uouccm1o60g7i08v02kqa584.apps.googleusercontent.com

Remember you can setup same account as multiple entries in the plugin and user a username like [email protected]/write.

Second, you must visit this URL https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1i4Gr5rZ2Ls5Z9uW41GPyPK0wrsqUM830GtGQtWEWOSc/edit?usp=sharing and "Make a copy..." and save to your Google Drive. You must use a name other than XBMC-gdrive--RENAME (use XBMC-gdrive, for instance). If you use the same name as the public spreadsheet, you'll attempt to write to that one and will realize nothing will work. Don't leave blank rows in the data, if you modify data, as it will prevent the spreadsheet from updating.

Image
Enable the feature under Library (use library integration?). Provide the account number that appears under Accounts that corresponds the account with the read/write OAUTH2. Finally, specify the spreadsheet name (your copy made earlier).

Now when you right-click and "Play with resume", after you stop the video, it will record the resume time. If the video finishes, it will required it as watched.

These are the first steps into enabling more advanced features that will be forthcoming.

Version 0.6.14
-- Google Drive API 2 module - fix: captions supporting "
-- Google Drive API 2 module - read/write OAUTH2 - save resume point [right-click Play with resume] (testing)

known issues with this test build:
- Play from here in videos causes endless "opening stream" + error #29

I copied the process outlined here.
And when I went to start on my 2nd machine there is a pop-up box with the header "Select an account:" and no option.

First machine is working.....second one is not.

Aha! Figured it out. Had to change the directory to /storage/emulated/legacy/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/ and enable hidden files on KODI

ok i see i have to that as caption an option of google drive. that way i think it will read them becouse otherwise for me it is not working, dont know if someone else as the same issue.

(2015-05-15, 11:32)Norin_Radd Wrote: I managed to add the series to the library.

How i did it? Becouse i defined 3 different folders misc, movies, series on settings, adding strm file goest to misc by default then it sends to series folder, but theres a Bug in that operation, cause on video source series folder theres no strm file so it doesnt scrape, i had to cut copy paste the folder series -> season # -> file.strm to the series folder of settings, and your video source series folder has to have series 1 -> etc + Series 2-> etc to scrape if it is for example studio -> series 1 -> etc + series 2 -> etc it doesn´t add.

Still doesn´t read subtitles from gdrive.

Other thing when i add new content on google drive folder the strm doesnt update, no major issue, just have to add stream, having to copy paste to series folder settings thats annoying.

Despite that you have one of the best, and crucial for me, addons on kodi, thank you for that. I don´t need no NAS ever.

Other thing i would like to suggest is adding music to library, and in the future adding games to library for future use on retroplayer, that would be awesome and you would manage to have a crucial and major addon for a lifetime.

Uploading to cloud what i have downloaded on kodi would be great too.

I thank you again for making this possible. Smile
In 0.6.33, music STRM is possible (creates and playsback). I have not tested the ability to import the STRM into the library
