The PVR addons became binary in 2014, but the addons website only shows the non-binary addons.
Janbar already submits his code to the binary pvr addon that is included with Kodi (https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.mythtv )
You can see this by looking at the code history here: https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.mythtv/commits/master
The pvr.mythtv addon that we build is currently on par with version 2.0.10 of janbar. I'm sure he will submit the new version as soon as he thinks it is stable.
It would probably be a nice idea to at least list the binary addons too.

I am new to Kodi, and I had rather a struggle to find a mythtv plugin that worked on Raspberry pi. After an abortive attempt with mythbox, I tried installing the (janbar) mythtv plugin from various repositories and found several versions that did not work for various reasons. Eventually I downloaded the source from the janbar github, and compiled it and that works perfectly.

the janbar addon was just included in pvr.mythtv so it is up to date now in our own repo.

My "suggestion" is that this thread could also be used for feedback. If it were I would like to thank Ned and the wiki contributors. That is some great documentation for users and developers. I am stubborn and "manual" resistant but now that I have gotten out of my own way I have found it pretty pleasant.

Hi guys,
I'm having an issue with getting this plugin working on my Pi B+ with OSMC.
The app is installed and when I enter it I can see all of my folders and files. Whenever I click on a picture, however, the screen goes blank. I also don't see any thumbnails.
I have had this error pop up:
EDDOR: [Errno 2] No Su... /osmc/.kodi/addons/plugin.dbmc/default.py
Can someone please aid me in this? Cheers.

My add-on just got added to the repository (http://addons.kodi.tv/show/plugin.video.arteplussept/) but the icon is not showing up (it's not showing the default xbmc icon).
I'm not sure if that's the right place to ask this since I don't know if that's an issue with the website or if something else went wrong in the submission process.
