XBMC + Minecraft = NUC? - DavidA - 2014-01-20

Hello,

I have lots of XBMC boxes of various shapes and sizes. My son has an old hand-me-down desktop that he uses to play Minecraft, but it's a bit wheezey.

I was thinking about buying him a PC that's small, quiet, can run Minecraft and that I'll at some point turn into another XBMC box. I already have a spare SSD for it. His monitor is has DSUB and DVI inputs.

I've always fancied a NUC. Is there any specification of that that would suit my needs? If not, any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

NUC should be more than enough for Minecraft. Heck, you could probably run a minecraft server, a normal minecraft instance, and XBMC at the same time.
