The "unknown node types" are from your skin, which needs fixing, however even stock Confluence produces those log entries. They are harmless and unrelated to why your movie stops playing - enable debug and upload a full debug log (wiki) after your movie has stopped/problem occurred. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - popcornmix - 2014-02-24 (2014-02-24, 20:42)unclejoe01 Wrote: Is Airplay working with these builds? Follow this thread: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=179961 airplay won't work on the Pi until it works in xbmc. It looks like intermittently working is as good as you're going to get for now. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - Milhouse - 2014-02-24 New OpenELEC Gotham build: #0224 (Supercedes previous build) Code: # uname -a Based on tip of XBMC master (4542af8, changelog) and tip of OpenELEC master (fbf7d43, changelog) with the following modifications:
Additional Testing Notes:
RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - Milhouse - 2014-02-24 @popcornmix: When playing video using DVDPlayer and this new build, jumping forwards/backwards (StepForward/StepBack) seems to work OK, but SmallStepBack (~7 seconds) results in the image freezing until playback has caught up to the point at which the seek was initiated. OMXPlayer works correctly. Debug log here, I've annotated the points where I StepForward and then SmallStepBack. As you can see there are a lot of log entries written while seeking forwards, but very few when seeking backwards. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - mcarni - 2014-02-25 Guys, it might be my system that has some problem, but I am starting to think there are some files that don't play well with dvdplayer. mediainfo: Code: [michi@molodoy_vasiliy ~]$ mediainfo /mnt/downloads/MOVIES/Monsters\ Inc\ \(2001\)\ \[1080p\]/Monsters.Inc.2001.1080p.BrRip.x264.YIFY.mp4 with dvdplayer I get sound but only black picture, I can bring up the OSD, pause, FF etc but only black picture. If I play it with omxplayer teh file plays fine. This is the log: log Please let me know if there is any info that you need m RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - popcornmix - 2014-02-25 (2014-02-25, 21:24)mcarni Wrote: it might be my system that has some problem, but I am starting to think there are some files that don't play well with dvdplayer. Quote:[20:08:35 20.195868 T:3059085856 NOTICE: ARM mem: 156MB GPU mem: 100MB MPG2:0 WVC1:0 dvdplayer requires more gpu memory than omxplayer. We recommend at least 128M gpu memory for omxplayer (on gotham builds). That's your problem. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - spookybathtub - 2014-02-25 I installed test build 224 to try testing ALSA with HiFiBerry, but it doesn't show up in aplay and I get a bunch of these lines in dmesg Code: dmesg | grep hifi Is there something I can do to fix this? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - xbs08 - 2014-02-25 I'm running arm/gpu 112M/144M, give it a try. btw arm has 112M but in XBMC only reports 102M. Where does the missing 10MB go? I confirm that.... ... that I will try not to jump to conclusions and try to remember more when any advice is given to me.... sorry for the trouble, you are correct, with 128M the same file with dvdplayer works fine.... I was under the impression that 100Mb was ok, but...I was wrong... sorry again and thanks m RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - MrNice - 2014-02-25 @popcornmix Clean install in formatted SD card: build: #0224 Personal set-up: Network Wi-Fi Service SSH Apparence > International > UK (24), Timezone Music > Playback > Visualisation: None System > Video output: 1680 x 1050 System > Audio output > Number of channels: 5.0 Input device > Peripherals > CEC Device to power on: AVR, Device to power off: AVR, When the TV is switched off: Ignore I did few reboots along setup without playing After I tried playing flac 2ch file with default PAPlayer: No sound nether system sound As usual, I changed the screen resolution: Still no sound with default player Then I tried OMXplayer and sound is here system sound as well Then tried again with PAPlayer sound is here as well. Then I switched off the RPi (no power) and restarted it Tried to play same flac file, no sound with the 3 players and no system sound. Changed the screen resolution: As soon I clicked the window "Would you like to change the resolution?" YES, I can hear the system sound then flac file played fine. Find log here from the second boot. Hope this will help to find the issue RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - Ned Scott - 2014-02-26 We had build 0220 loaded up at the XBMC booth at SCALE this last weekend. Everyone was blown away at the improvements since v12, including some XBMC team members :D RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - Milhouse - 2014-02-26 (2014-02-26, 02:59)Ned Scott Wrote: We had build 0220 loaded up at the XBMC booth at SCALE this last weekend.
