ok found a solution on itasa website
open kodi/addons/service.subtitles.itasa/service.py in C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\addons\service.subtitles.itasa
and change this line
main_url = 'http://www.italiansubs.net/'
in
main_url = 'https://www.italiansubs.net/'

if you still have problem, i've fixed modifying the file settings.xml under /userdata/addon_data/service.subtitles.itasa leaving only the rows with username and passwords, removing the other parameters inside the tag <settings> </settings>
after that, i've rebooted. all now is working fine
