RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - macbellota - 2014-04-19 Dear @MilhouseVH I am using version Hifiberry Digi low experimental version of OpenELEC XBMC with very good results in general. Sometimes the audio is quite annoying, as it has a similar effect to Alvin and the Chipmunks, I imagine it will be a problem of frequency settings or something. The problem is to solve this issue, I must go to the audio settings and select: Output Configuration: Fixed normally when it is configured as: Output settings: Optimized this must be changed every time the problem occurs with the audio. Any solution?? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - Irisheyes - 2014-04-20 FYI, I'm using 0417b with the Hifiberry DAC, works perfectly, great sound through a BGW power amp and a pair of Electrovoice Sentry 10's... RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - b1m1 - 2014-04-20 I'm getting a similar issue, screen blanks intermittantly. Log is filled with 01:11:57 35485.550781 T:2774115408 NOTICE: Display resolution DESKTOP : 1920x1080 (1920x1080) @ 50.00 - Full Screen (16) 01:11:57 35485.652344 T:3058229248 NOTICE: Using GL_TEXTURE_2D 01:11:57 35485.652344 T:3058229248 NOTICE: GL: Using BYPASS render method 01:11:57 35485.652344 T:3058229248 NOTICE: GL: NPOT texture support detected (2014-04-17, 22:30)craigbeat Wrote:(2014-04-17, 20:13)Dimitriss Wrote: Well the feature to change hz during playback seems to have a bug at 50hz. After some minutes of playback it switches every 5 seconds between 50hz and 60hz. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - Jönke - 2014-04-20 Same thing here , i left in on over night @50hz and in the morning it was @ 60hz and i had to reboot to get he option of diffrent Hz back, it was stuck @ 60 (tv was off) RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - popcornmix - 2014-04-20 (2014-04-19, 09:40)rbej Wrote: Please rebase newclock3. Xbmc 13 rc1 is out. I'm away for weekend. Will rebase when back (Monday night), but I expect newclock3 patches could be applied to latest Gotham branch (although rc1 isn't out yet). RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - Milhouse - 2014-04-20 It applies fine, although you do need to ignore several commits in newclock3 that are now in XBMC master. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - tomer953 - 2014-04-20 Hdmi-cec remote still doesnt work after changing source on tv, and return to xbmc..remore doesnt work untill iphone app "active" xbmc again. And put youtube video with iphone app make the pi crashing (black screen) 3.95.6 beta 4 RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - b1m1 - 2014-04-21 I get this too. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - Milhouse - 2014-04-21 Sounds like it should be reported on the PulseEight/CEC or OpenELEC github... RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - tomer953 - 2014-04-22 since beta 3.95.6 (i think). when I play video, and change the source while playing, and then come back, I see the "NO SIGNAL" screen on tv, and I can connect to xbmc from ios app and see there the video still playing... the only thing is work after this situation happen is "reboot", it bring xbmc again... if video is play before I change to the source - xbmc just show the "no signal" screen. pi connected with lan cable to htpc, smb sharing, over mysql database (installed on htpc pc) RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - ismadder - 2014-04-22 (2014-04-22, 14:32)tomer953 Wrote: since beta 3.95.6 (i think). I had problem with no signal on my sony tv, the way i resolved it was to my sure Playback, is set to display 4:3 Normal, hope that helps RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - tomer953 - 2014-04-22 (2014-04-22, 15:49)ismadder Wrote:(2014-04-22, 14:32)tomer953 Wrote: since beta 3.95.6 (i think). you mean to the "show 4:3 videos as.." - "normal"\"zoom"\"16:9" ........ this ? cause in all my xbmc I always set this to '16:9" for old movies shows as a little square in the middle of the screen... but I it will stop causing the problem, I will try it as soon I will be at home. Yes that what i mean !!! i found that on my lg it worked ok but my sony bravia did not like it being set at 16:9, so i had set it to 4:3 normal RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - Milhouse - 2014-04-23 New OpenELEC Gotham build: #0423 (Supercedes previous build) Code: # uname -a Based on tip of OpenELEC master (56caed2, changelog) and tip of XBMC master (15561b4, changelog) with the following modifications:
New firmware to fix spurious framerate switching with some files; newclock3 now supports switching to 3d modes automatically; new commits to kernel for fiq_fsm. dvdplayer is now the default for dvd images - it has until now been omxplayer, unless you had already specified dvdplayer as <defaultdvdplayer> in your own advancedsettings.xml. This is now no longer necessary. The video defaults are now: Code: <video>
RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - edwr - 2014-04-23 I'm not sure if either build was supposed to fix this, but FWIW, this latest build and the other recent one with FIQ changes still lockup randomly during videos with a USB wireless mouse dongle plugged in (unless dwc_otg.fiq_fsm_enable=0 is in cmdline) |
