RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - davidmtml - 2014-09-04 I've had an issue ever since updating to the Kodi builds. The On-screen keyboard doesn't display anything! Is this just a setting that I am being dumb and overlooking? I had no problems with any 13.x builds. My first 14.x build was was #0815, and the issue was there. Today I updated to #0902, still having the same issue. If I click on the "192.168.1.1", I am able to input numbers, but can't get any letters to show up no matter what I seem to do. Also, I cannot input text here via the Yatse app/keyboard. Any ideas?? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - Martijn - 2014-09-04 Read the blog posts. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - Milhouse - 2014-09-04 http://xbmc.org/kodi-14-0-helix-alpha-3/ Quote:Important: As an affect of this change you will notice that most of the third-party skins will now have a blank keyboard layout as they have not been updated yet. The last build #0902 also has a change which bumps the GUI ABI to 5.3.0 (PR5295), which is likely to cause even more breakage with third party skins that aren't yet Helix-compatible so you might want to make the choice whether to continue testing new builds with Confluence, or use your third party skins, as it's unlikely you'll be able to do both for the time being until the skin developers release their updates. Skins that do not support the latest GUI ABI will be marked as incompatible by Kodi due to unmet dependencies - you will probably see prompts for your third-party skins (add-ons) soon if you haven't seen them already. Badger the skin developers to release updates etc. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - FAMMAR - 2014-09-04 (2014-09-04, 20:21)Milhouse Wrote: http://xbmc.org/kodi-14-0-helix-alpha-3/ Thanks Millhouse, couldn't find it when someone is only telling me: Read the blog RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - Milhouse - 2014-09-04 @Fammar: Also see the note I added to my previous post. It's probably necessary for me to now add a "Test only with stock Confluence" warning, as there's always going to be some lag with skin developers catching up to the latest API changes. Unfortunately with some skins it can be a very, very long time (maybe even "never"). RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - popcornmix - 2014-09-04 (2014-09-04, 00:56)anonimo2001 Wrote: @popcornmix If you have "adjust display refresh rate to match video framerate" then you should expect the video and audio to disappear at start and at end of video. That's down to how long your tv/receiver takes to change refresh rate. It's often a second or two. If you change the default refresh in the GUI to match the most common framerate of videos (usually 23.97) then you avoid the reference rate change for most videos. BTW your advancedsettings.xml file forces framerates of 23.97 to 24. You should remove that as the PI correctly handles 23.97 and 24 as distinct modes. It's only needed on platforms where this isn't handled correctly. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 - pootler - 2014-09-05 0902 build Using HAUPPAUGE A415-HPG-A remote play/pause seems to be working. FF/RW seems to work well -much less visual distortion - however- when I try to go back to play from faster speed, then video stops saying \seeking\ for a second and then if I press play, the audio continues but the video freezes? Happens on recorded, and live ( VDR time shift) programs. Audio files seem to FF/RW fine Only the video component seems to freeze? pootler |
