RE: [RELEASE] Super Favourites AKA Super-Addon Creator - Canopus71 - 2015-08-26

Hello
I tried, with no success at this time to host my superfavorites folders on a external website.

I modified the addon settings with this value :

<setting id="FOLDER" label="30056" type="folder" default="special://profile/addon_data/plugin.program.super.favourites/" />
by
<setting id="FOLDER" label="30056" type="folder" default="http://xxxxx.com/" />

or in user data :

<setting id="FOLDER" value="special://profile/addon_data/plugin.program.super.favourites/" />
by
<setting id="FOLDER" value="http://xxxxx.com/" />

But in both cases it did not change anything...

Can you please help me to modify the settings.xml for the favorites to be automaticly updated from the url where they are hosted ?

Thanks in advance,

Sandrine

I'm having a lot of trouble with background images. At some point, SF decided to use a particular folder (full of music-related background images) and now, no matter what I do, no matter what settings I change, I get music-related background images for every folder/category in SF. Anybody else have this problem? Any suggestions for fixing it?

Hi

I sync my builds nightly to family members boxes and wondered if someone could help.

I need to know where the links are stored when they are saved to Super Favourites. The folders I create are syncing ok, but the links are not. Can anyone help?

Thanks

It doesn't work like that.

You can however import from a zip file hosted remotely.

Sounds very odd. In the SF settings has the Fanart option (in the Display options) been set erroneously?

Can you try setting the Fanart manually for one of the folders and see what happens

They are stored in favourites.xml files located in the user-data folder for the SF addon (by default, you can change this)

Thanks a lot for your answer ; it helps me a lot to know stopping to search in this direction.

But I really need this function and I can pay if you can help me to make it works.

Thanks in advance.

The folders are stored as folders in the same location as the SF root favourites.xml file.

This defaults to the SF folder in the user_data area if Kodi.

If you take a look with a file browser it should become clear.

What are you trying to change?

RE: [RELEASE] Super Favourites AKA Super-Addon Creator - usemy - 2015-08-31

I have a question regaridng remote load of SF.

I've exported the favorites using the function in SF. I've put a copy on OneDrive, DropBox and Google Drive.
They all fail, though the OneDrive has one less dialog box upon failing.
The Dropbox and GoogleDrive all report failed, unknown filesize.
The OneDrive just reports failed. http://1drv.ms/1hNq5jg

I have loaded the file locally to test, and that works and it was successful.

I appreciate how wonderful the SF add on is, and I am sorry to ask for your help but I have tried and I can not seem to solve the issue.

Thank-you.

One drive doesn't work as it doesn't present the file as a raw file.

Can you pm me the Dropbox URL (I assume it is in a public folder) or Google Drive URL (again this needs to be the raw file url) and I'll take a look.

Hey just discovered this addon, I've sent you a PM regarding adding Pulsar addon on iSearch (both Movies and TV) but I'm asking here because maybe someone already had this implemented, I couldn't get it to work. Thanks!

Tried replying but your PM is disabled.

1. Is there a way to keep the views I've set on a PC and have them be identical on an android unit? I presumed moving the config files was all that was required.
2. I have searched online to find out the "view types" and their corresponding codes "list, icons, banner, etc". Is there a list view codes / actual views?

Thank-you fine, fine sir.

If you set the view to the one you want via the pull-out dialog then select 'Remember View Type' from the context menu.

That should do it.

And that did do it. Thank-you!
